Robert at High Country Motors does things the right way. Not only is he a hard working and experienced mechanic, but he's quick to solve any issues that arise. He treats his customers fairly, and offers great value for the work performed. I had an urgent automotive situation happen while on an Elk hunt, and Robert was able to quickly make my repair the right way. He's a stand up guy, and I would definitely use this repair facility again!

While enjoying a ride through the mountains of the Apache National Forest in the White Mountains, my Z4 roadster decided to breakdown on me. Hundreds of miles from my mechanic, I was afraid that I would be in deep trouble. I was able to make it back to Springerville, and limped it into the local auto parts store. I asked if they knew anyone in town familiar with BMWs. Right away I was told that I had to go see Robert at High Country Motors, that he worked on BMWs and Mini Coopers and such. I said, that sounds like my kind of guy. Robert is a very pleasant person, easy to work with, and was able to order the parts needed. Unfortunately I had to wait until the next day for them to come in. He got me back on the road the next morning, and my Z has been humming along since then. Runs smoother than it has in a while. Thank you Robert for getting me back on the road again!

We had a really complex issue with our truck. The dealership quoted us $30K to put a new motor in. High Country Motors was able to actually fix the original motor and save us thousands. The truck is running great. Highly recommend these guys.

I was in the area for the summer and on my way home my diesel injector went bad. The injectors had just been replaced five months prior to going bad. Robert and his guys were able to replace the injector and get me right back on the road. He was also able to fix the hard starting problem which another shop claimed was bad injectors and it was a broken o ring. He was even super helpful in helping with my claim for motorcraft for the defective injector by giving me the core without charging me.
He supports first responders and military by offering a discount too.

Update while the work was done properly non OEM parts were used resulting in my warranty from ford motorcraft being denied. Robert listed and charged me for motorcraft parts and used aftermarket parts. While the truck runs good I’m now out the cost of repairs and towing which is over 1500 due to the false use of oem parts.
Update: the repair was done improperly and had to be redone. The dealership found that the O-ring on the new standpipe was torn during install causing it to fail in less than 5000 miles from the repairs. Robert will not return calls or stand behind his work.

Robert was amazing. We are RV boondockers and came into town for a hike. Jeep just stoped working. Got us in right away. Was able to diagnose and repair our jeep in less that 24 hours. Great personality. Reasonable price. Even drove us back to our RV.
