I have used Staley in the past and have had a good experience. However, I will not be using them in the future, as the work they did this time was not up to code. I recently installed an electric range in my kitchen. I needed a new breaker installed, and a new wire run from the range to the breaker box. I ran the wire through the attic myself, but hired Staley to finish the job, as the room my breaker box is in does not have attic access. All they had to do was run the wire the last 10 ft to the breaker box and hook it up to the new breaker. Instead of running the wire through the wall or putting it in conduit on the surface of the wall, they instead just left it exposed on the wall and simply zip tied it to another piece of existing conduit. This is a code violation, as the wire was not protected from physical damage. To their credit, they did come back to fix their work at no additional charge, but it's ridiculous that any legit electrician would do work that sloppy.

I was extremely pleased with Jeff and his apprentice today. My maintenance man couldn’t fix a broken light and they were able to make it out within 30 minutes of calling. I know that speed may not be typical but I was so grateful! I would definitely use again.

Staley is our primary go-to for all our electrical needs and we've tried several others. Staley is economical, they aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Jeff and his partner came out gave me a quote on installing an outlet and power to a camera. They did the job in a couple hours the same day, running wires through the attic and wall. They were professional and thorough. If you want a quality, timely and professional electrical job done call Staley! Cleve says that’s some good power right there!

The guys that came out and did the work were fine, but I’ll never call Staley again based on my experience with the business handling of things.

First, the person I talked to when I made the service call was not clear and honest about the fees. I was told it is 100 dollars for the crew to come out. I understood this to mean 100 dollars for them to come out and assess my issue. I wouldn’t pay them 100 dollars just to drive to my house. Well then guys informed me that it is 100 dollars for them to come out and then an 85 dollar troubleshooting fee. I was disgruntled, but agreed to the charges as my need was urgent. I even signed their IPad specifically agreeing to those charges. At the conclusion of the service they then told me that tax was not included in what I was told originally and SIGNED FOR so my total charge wound up being 201$ when I thought it would be 100 originally.

Second, I informed the office staff I spoke to BEFORE the service that I would need to pay with a check dated for the coming week, as my wife and I needed to be paid again to afford the service. The office staff told me that would be acceptable. I gave the crew my check and informed them as well why the check was dated for several days in the future. Well, my check got cashed 2 days later and over drafted our account.

Because of these experiences I will not call Staley electric for any future needs and would not recommend them to others.

The guys from Staley electric did a wonderful job on my EV charger. They work fast and have a good work habit. I will definitely use this company again.
