Came to the A1 location in San Mateo on a Sunday for a auto key cut for a 2001 Lexus ES300. Yes it is a home location. Service was still exceptional.

First try key needed to be shaved a little more so he went back inside and ran it thru again and after it worked perfectly. I did not need programming as I was able to find a video on youtube to do it myself since I had the master key still. Which I was able to do in about 5 minutes after getting key cut by A1.

Glad to see a local small business willing to cut a key that is not purchased from them. Home depot, Ace and OSH refuse to touch anything not purchased thru them.

This is why its important to support mom and pops shops and local small businesses. They understand not everyone can afford to just dish out $250 or more to replace a key. Especially on a old car.

i lost one of the key fobs of my Acura and had a duplicate made at A1 Locksmith. They pre-ordered the key fob and programmed it while I was waiting. It was excellent service, and the price was much more reasonable than what the dealership would charge.

Steven was able to replace my Ford key fob and cut a new valet key. He got the OEM fob and did all the work in four hours. He’s got all the specialized equipment for doing the electronics and precise key cutting. Great service!!!
