I ordered a set of five 8 ss coilovers for my 2010 camaro 2ss August of 2021 and I have to be honest I have been having issues and spent more money trying to figure it out that I spent on the coilovers itself. They look nice but the ride and sound quality is what matters and they sound terrible is why I have to give it one star and that’s only because they look nice. First off they come with sway bar end links and I had to replace them with factory end links a month later because the nuts would not stop coming loose. Also no matter how tight you tighten the top nut the coilovers keep coming off centered somehow causing a loud embarrassing noise whichever way I turn my steering wheel. I’ve been to every top notch performance mechanic and spent more time and money then I should have trying to figure this out only to come to the conclusion that I’m going to have to replace these with a more expensive brand. It’s true you get what you pay for. Maybe They are good on v6’s or 4 cylinders lol but not a v8 or better just being honest. To your own discretion if you plan on purchasing a set. I wish I could send the video of my performance mechanic showing them moving even while fully tightened.
