I highly recommend Curt and Color Eclipse Painting! He was very professional from beginning to end. While trying to get quotes for the interior of my new house in Nevada City, some painters never even returned my calls, and the ones that did, their quotes were ridiculously high. Curt returned my call promptly and came right out. During our initial walk through his experience really stood out to me. He actually listened to what I wanted and had several excellent suggestions that, in the end, took my house from being average to extraordinary!

Curt's follow up was also outstanding. After our walk through I had an unforeseen 30 day setback, and was concerned about having to start the process all over again, but Curt continued to keep in touch with me, and once I was ready to move forward again he was right there!

His crew was also very professional and knew what they were doing. They were all very respectful and courteous. Curt went way beyond what I would expect from any painter, especially working around my schedule. Bottom Line is that Curt really cared about my house, as if it were his own, and getting everything exactly right. I am very satisfied with the quality and have already been discussing having exterior work done.

I highly recommend Curt! Not only is he excellent at what he does, he is a great guy-- so friendly and yet very professional. To top it all off, his rates are reasonable. My family and I had Curt paint our living room (high vaulted ceilings) and bathroom (also has a high ceiling). The bathroom has an older cast iron tub that needed some work done to remedy scratches on the inside and a new paint color on the exterior. The bathroom also had older wood wainscot that we wanted to paint over. Curt was the only painter in the area who seemed capable of tackling all the tasks. He fixed our cast iron tub up beautifully. The painting he did in on the walls in both the living room and bathroom also came out great.

I wouldn't hesitate to hire Curt again. My boyfriend and I feel that not only did we find a great painter in the area, we also made a new friend.
