Don't call these people for pick ups. They are mighty picky and or lazy. I had some furniture, and other larger items for pick up and the driver said he didn't think the items were sellable and left. Mind you he spent about 5 seconds looking at the items. Most of the items were definitely usable. Don't use these people for pick ups unless your items are pristine. I can only imagine how expensive they sell their stuff for.

This thrift store was seriously awesome. We found some really awesome pieces that were very reasonably priced. Going to big name thrift stores now is a joke—Emerald has kept really fair thrift store prices.
Everyone there was really nice! The store was very organized as well.

I do agree with other reviews, the place smells like cigarette smoke. That would make me nervous to buy clothes from there—however that’s not what I was in the market for.

The shopkeeper (who is not the owner) needs to stop smoking in front of the open front door. All the smoke was sucked inside by the giant fan & circulated into the shop - I physically couldn’t stand it & was forced to leave. Customers shouldn’t have to inhale secondhand cigarette smoke & employees absolutely know better.

I’d love to edit this review because I know Emerald Thrift is better than this behavior & there’s no way this man’s boss is ok with his stinking up the shop/merchandise.

Pros:
-Good and friendly customer service. First thing you see when walking the door.
-Medium amounts of inventory with plenty of everything including misc. items. (Lots of games, electronics, and music more than average I’ve seen, which are my favorites!).
-Prices are right on but not too cheap to want to make a mass shopping spree.
-A little clean and small manageable walking space.

Neutral:
-Parking meters (25 cents for 15 mins)
-Next to few thrift stores.

Cons:
-Misc. Items in the back can be very jumbled at times and prices can sometimes surprise me.

Summary: A solid but not perfect thrift store. Definitely a place to check out! There’s a few thrift stores nearby so that’s a plus. I wrote a review for one of them.

It was very nice of Mr. Jim to donate several pairs of dress shoes to the students at Burrows taking part in the Young Men of Character program. I will be showing these guys how to shine shoes for those special occasions in life like Proms, Graduation, Job interviews and maybe Weddings.

Very nice customer service and a very clean and well organized store. They had a little bit of everything from books and DVDs to records, clothing and furniture. You should check it out if you are looking for some second hand items at an affordable price.
