I recenltly had the pleasure of transitioning to ADT for my home security needs, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire experience. My home, which is nearly fifty years old and made of brick, presents unique challenges for any alarm system. Gregory Barker, the ADT Solutions Advisor, visited my home to evaluate my old alarm system. From the moment he arrived, I was impressed by his professionalism, empathy, and patience—qualities that are particularly valuable to someone like me at 84 years old. Greg carefully assessed my situation and provided a reasonable estimate, which I accepted. Greg scheduled the installation a few days later.

The ADT service representative, Dale Turkette, who handled the installation, was equally impressive. Dale was not only kind and patient but also highly creative in finding solutions to integrate the new system with the existing infrastructure of my home. One particular challenge was reestablishing the old keyboard power source, which he expertly resolved. Additionally, Dale went above and beyond by setting up applications on my iPhone and iPad, enabling me to control the alarm system remotely—something I could not accomplish alone.

Since the installation, my new ADT system has worked flawlessly, providing me with much-needed peace of mind. The stress of worrying about my home’s security has been completely alleviated, and my two adult daughters, who live elsewhere, are even more grateful because they no longer have to listen to their father complain about the house not being adequately protected.

I needed to install a 16 camera security system at our 18 unit, 3 story condominium complex. I had bid the project out to 8 installers. After a long vendor review process, I ended up selecting to work with Greg at Smart Home Security Control. It was a great decision on my part! Initially, it took me and the rest of the HOA Board many months to review, make design decisions, iterations, hold our discussions and approve funding for the project. During this time, some vendors got impatient and naggy; some stopped replying as I reached out letting them know the project delays. Greg on the other hand, would check in with me every month or so, and never used any pressure. He was very professional and remained willing and interested in the project while we got our issues resolved on the HOA's end. His quote was also very thorough and competitive (it wasn't the lowest I received, but it was very reasonable given some other numbers thrown at me), and I really liked the equipment options and specs he communicated to me. When it came time to install, his installers led by Carl were top notch! Punctual, honest, great communicators, and excellent craftsmen. They had to work for a number of days to cover the vast spans of the condo complex - running and installing conduits, and taping existing unused infrastructure, as well as routing and hiding wires within and through walls. Every day they left the area tidy, and checked in with me which was great. After project completion, I had a tutorial from Carl of the system capabilities and a fully set up and functioning camera system (16 channel, 4K, NVR/DVR, with continuous loop recording, and wifi enabled smart phone app for quick viewing/recording) The system looks and operates at my high expectations, and I'm really thrilled with the experience I had. I highly recommend these guys for their pricing, professionalism, and work product.
