I used Ed’s lock and key today after having a difficult time anywhere else to get someone here to replace the locks in my place of business. The receptionist was extremely friendly and professional! Considering I called needing someone this week to come and the man came THE DAY I called with amazing service, I knew i HAD to leave a review!!! Highly highly highly recommend 5000 times over. One morning I awoke to a shocking discovery. My house keys had been stolen the night before and i required a change in locks. I called this fine establishment and the amazing perfect secretary, Liv i believe, helped me immensely immensely in replacing my locks upon my house. Service was perfect, poignant, and quite reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone. 10/10

I actually was very pleased with the service that I received. I washed my key fob in my work pants. When he arrived to my daughter's house ( he) the son of the original owner, gave me the best customer service. I was charged close to four hundred dollars for the service that I needed, which was programming a new fob and working on the original fob and making it work again?❗But not long ago I actually went to the location in North Birmingham, to ask for help with another issue that I had. I was totally ignored by him(son). He would not even come to the counter to speak with me about anything, I was told by the young lady that I would get a call later. Still to this date no return call. It makes me wonder if all the work that he put in was only about capital, and not to satisfy the customer as originally perceived..

Although the price may seem high they're not. ED's has been around since my childhood. Recently my key to my 2014 Chevy Equinox with autostart was damaged. Ed had the key in stock and was able to program a replacement key quickly.

Go to Ed’s to get your keys. I had been to several lock and key businesses and no one else in town could help me with my older car or much less answer the phone. I called Ed’s on a Friday afternoon and they said bring the key and car and they would get it done. They fit me in to their busy schedule and did my keys in about 30 minutes. Great job and highly recommend.

Had to get a replacement key for my 2017 Subaru Forester. They had a key back in stock and was done in about 30 min. Cost was in line with expectations. Would recommend calling before showing up as they were fairly busy when I dropped my car off. Very nice courteous people.

Ed's has been my locksmith of choice for a long time now. He came to my house and resolved a very difficult problem and that was a long way from town. Now I go by there fairly often for batteries and rekeying and I'm always happy and satisfied.
