Had to call because one of my techs key stopped working and was locked out of truck. Was told he would be there in 30 min. Took 1.5 hrs for him to show. He programmed a new key and then said he got the old key to work. Charged me $350 after telling my tech it would be $250 and then sends receipt and all it states is service call for $350. No break down and site said less than $100. Will not be calling this service again.

I called this company today for a quote when my mom locked herself out of her car. The guy said that they couldn't give me a quote over the phone, but that they were on the way and would quote her in person for free. He showed up late and then quoted her $120. I had already gotten another quote for $60 by this time so she told him that she wouldn't be needing his services after all. He immediately became very rude and told her that she owed him $30 for his drive time. She told him that she wouldn't be paying it because they said the quote was free. He argued with her and then got in his car and preceded to watch her from the parking lot and wouldn't leave. This is extremely unprofessional and disturbing to say the least. So be aware of this if you choose to use them. Locksmith Express were very nice and professional and only charged $60. Call them instead.

Pleased with the response of tech & service. However, pricing is extremely misleading. Website says $35 for residential car unlocking service call. I suspected that it would be more than the 35, but final cost was $156 for 5 minutes of work. The tech brushed my displeasure off by saying “we did drive from Birmingham.”

Called Alabaster Lock Smith with the phone number listed on web site, and I explained I needed ta price to make a new key for a Toyota Camry that the key was lost. He said he could not help me because my address and name did not show up on the screen. I told him the car was my dad's and in Pelham, he then said we cannot help you because Google doesn't show your name and hung up. I tried to give him my name and address, so now I will let everyone know who uses this answering service that's located in another country.

I called and asked about cost to get new kew key. Said started at $179. I asked what does start at mean? Said may be a little more. Three key tries later he said it was $245. 37% increase from quoted price is price gouging. Stay away from this dishonest person!
