Worst job you could ever imagine! I hired John H. ( Peninsula Professional Concrete/Construction ) to construct a 40x40 shop, he did the concrete slab, framing and siding. Huge nightmare, I was told the work would be completed by Thanksgiving but turned out to be May the next year. Every aspect of the job was flawed, he disagreed with me on all the mistakes I was concerned with so I decided to hire a private inspector ( we didn't pull a permit so regular inspections were not available, big mistake with this guy ). The inspection corrections report was long but it didn't really matter to John even though our contract was for construction that was code compliant I guess he meant his personal code. Much of the framing and siding I was able to redo and correct however what bugs me the most is the concrete slab because there isn't much I can do to fix it. The slab is soft and cracking, it has spawls (chips flaking off up to 1/4" deep ) everywhere and they keep coming up so even an epoxy overlay would be unreliable. There are many low puddling areas and the floor drain is a high spot so absolutely no water will drain into it, this is almost unbelievable. I should have pursued legal action but I didn't have the time or patients to see that through. To add to my bad experience, he broke into my skidsteer and was using it on the job without my knowing or permission, I showed up to find foot prints all over the roof of it, ran out of fuel, the door locking mechanism was bent to gain access and the outer plastic handle melted and the ignition dash bezel melted, he had used another machines key to operate it and said he left a phone message asking to use it. Further more my RV that was parked on site was also broke into through a skylight and appeared that people were eating there lunches inside ( to be honest, I have no proof that this was from the workers ). If you hire this company, I can assure that you will be disappointed and regret it! Don't even consider it!

Worst job I've ever seen!! Can't even walk on my floor without tripping over a huge bump or hole in the ground. Hasn't even seen a winter yet and half of my floor is cracked. Not to mention he put drains in the floor that you can spay water right next to and it runs in the opposite direction. He refuses to answer my call or return them. If you are thinking about using this company don't. Just do it your self it will turn out better.
