Saved the day! Our ten year old heat pump wasn't performing as it should. Bill was extremely attentive to the situation and helped identify the problem and fix it, which ended up being fixing faulty installation from a different company. Our heat pump is now working better than it ever has and likely saving us even more money! I would recommend Alaska Plumbing and Heating to anyone with heat pump or similar needs!

Very glad we decided to choose Alaska Plumbing & Heating for our new air source heat pump. We had a few estimates done and felt they asked the best questions and came up with a solution that not only saved us money but also was the best fit for our home. The project took a little longer than expected but they always communicated with us when showing up late or couldn't for the day due to scheduling and having one person not able to work due to an injury. We've had the system for several weeks now and it's quiet, dry, and easy to control. While others wanted to place wall mounted head units in every room, AK Plumbing & Heating placed a unit in our crawl space with venting to three bedrooms and our den. I would not hesitate calling AK Plumbing & Heating for future plumbing and heating projects.

Couldn't find anyone in Juneau to help get our Toyotomi Water Heater working for our home. Alaska Plumbing & Heating came over and got our Fernace working in no time. The owner of this business installed a heat pump for me and did a bunch of ducting. I've also used them for general purpose plumbing work in the past. They did fantastic work for me. Whenever I have a plumbing need, these are the guys I call.

BEWARE! Owner of company had an apprentice do the much of the work unsupervised (which is against the law in Alaska). Then told me apprentice was a licensed plumber and billed me for the rate of a licensed journeyman plumber. Complaint filed with AK Professional Licensing, which confirmed apprentice did not have a journeyman license. State of Alaska issued a Cease & Desist Letter for these practices on 9/4/2018.
