My reservation said return to Buellton by 9:30am on 9-18-24 and i returned it the night before in Buellton around 9pm on 9-17-24 and put keys in the return dropbox, but the place charged me an extra day and receipt says i dropped off at 10:58am on 9-18-24 and so we called the drop off location and they are saying that i was supposed to drop off uhal in lompoc, but my reservation clearly says Buellton.

I bought $100 carbide chainsaw chain here and cutting regular oak, the tooth chipped and failed. I returned it and when I returned it the young gentleman at the countersaid he didn't have time to sharpen the chainsaw chain and he also could not warranty it I lost a client today because I was at the shop for over an hour and still had no resolution. They also said they had no way to get files or Dremel bits to sharpen this chain meaning I bought a chain that I can never sharpen. it's unfortunate that local businesses would rather someone deal online because they don't want to deal with this sort of issue. I have sent my workers here several times to buy things and after this experience we will not spend another dollar until this is resolved. The terrible part about it all is this is unfortunate that it seemed like the employees at this shop, really didn't care if I left upset unsatisfied or with intentions of never returning. Shame shame, this is the route of lost sales to businesses locally

We were needing a part for the weed eater and went over, but it was closed. A fellow came out and opened for us just as we were leaving. He was super friendly, helpful, and got us the part!

The store is well stocked as I was very excited about it the first time I went in. However, their service brought this five star store to a one star business in my opinion.

I brought them them my first saw (a ‘96 husqvarna 55 Rancher that I bought for $200 about ten years ago). I wanted them to tell me what it would cost to fix, so that I could decide weather or not to fix It. They charge around $40 to look at the saw, and that is deducted from the repair cost if you choose to repair it. They told me repairs would cost $130 so I thought I would pay $90 and be done. However they didn’t make it clear over the phone that the $130 already had the $40 taken off so The repairs totaled $170. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid. After I got the saw back, I went on vacation and didn’t start up the saw until after I got back. It wouldn’t start. I called AOK and they told me that the saw was out of their 30 day warranty period, but since it was the first time I started it, they would take care of it. I gave it back to them and when the work is done they all of a sudden want $50 for the repairs. They didn’t even clear this with me before they did the work, and they had told me that they would take care of it. Long story short,
I had to call a manager in Santa Barbara and they convinced the manager in Buellton to give me the saw back for the cost of parts, $20. I had to call, the employee in Buellton was not willing to call anyone and actually suggested sending my saw back to the shop to have the work “undone”.

I’ve now paid $190 to repair a 23 year old saw that I bought for $200 ten years ago. If
They had quoted me this from the beginning I would have paid their $40 consulting fee, said thanks, but no thanks and been on my way. I feel swindled. I also really hope it works now because I’m now stepping foot in that store again.

I purchased a new brigs and Stratton presser whasher I’ve brought it in 3 times to fix it for the same problem and they have never resolved the problem! Now I’ve take it back for the 4 time they said they cover it under warranty but they wanted money to fix it again ! And I can’t get them to answer the phone ! They don’t return the call ! I’ve been a local for thirty years I would buy another product from them again ! Take your stuff to JV auto parts !! They do it Right!

Took my Husky Rancher chainsaw in for replacement of clutch drum. Took three weeks, I had to call to check on progress. When I went to finally pick up the chainsaw, they had done a whole host of unauthorized repairs and the bill was $100.00. Totally unacceptable and communication skills are very poor.

Don't use this place. Awful cheats. it is a repetitive problem . No matter what they will not honor any warranty. they say you used the wrong gasoline, wrong oil, wrong air, etc. They are crooks. Stay away.
