Excellent company! We purchased a Spanish revival house in Redondo Beach 20 years ago. The second thing we did at the house was to have the fireplace and chimney restored as it was completely unusable. Boston Brick and Stone worked with for the best solution. They were very easy to work with, prompt and kept us informed all the time. Fabulous to work with and I highly recommend.

We hired Boston Brick and Stone to repoint our large brick chimney, pour a new chimney crown, and install a custom chimney cap in Spring 2024. We were looking for a company with a specialization in masonry, and the boss, Logan, is a very knowledgeable mason. During his site visit, he offered us great advice, and clearly explained what work was needed. He was very patient and generous with his time as we worked out the details of the job. The work was completed by two masons (Efrain and Rafael) who had been with the company for 20+ years. They went above and beyond to make sure the job was done to their high standards. The supervisor, Keivin, checked in on the job site every day, and the administrator, Buffy, was very kind and helpful, taking care of all of our scheduling and billing needs. We are very happy with the result, and highly recommend Boston Brick and Stone for your next masonry job.

Our chimney was struck by lightning and after contacting several chimney repair companies, we were very disappointed with their responses. The last company we called was Boston Brick and Stone. After speaking with Anan, he visited our house and said that they would give us an estimate. The price was within our budget and we accepted the offer. The project manager Burten and his team started as scheduled and were very professional and knowledgeable. After 2-1/2 days, the project was completed on time. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Caesar and his colleagues left the job site as clean as possible. We will continue working with them to replace our existing driveway as well!

While undergoing a major foundation replacement of our 1927 Spanish style home the original brick fireplace structure collapsed. We were devastated at losing a part of history which we maintain in all our repairs. Boston Brick & Stone came to the rescue and created an even better version that was compliant with current code! Gone were decaying bricks, and the replacement structure and firebox gave us a new, safer palate to create a replica. We found and selected a tile pattern and colors which were hand made in Mexico for the interior beauty we enjoy today. They will be called upon again should the need arise. I love this company. I think if them every “winter” night when i light a fire, knowing that after a season of use i can rely on them to check it out and set me up for next “winter.”

I also love Dave’s newsletter. From the first issue i could tell he’s a journalist-at-heart. He does lively, interesting writing; i always enjoy receiving my copy.

Oh! Yes…BB&S rebuilt my fireplace just before my house almost burned down…they showed me the scorched wood.

I wish i had another project for them. I’ll keep thinking about that.

I enjoy the eclectic nature of the newsletter and enjoy receiving it. We have had work done by this company and the result were high-quality with attention to detail and artistic merit. Good for big jobs. Expensive for small jobs.

They did a good job. They brought their own toilet facilities. The payment schedule was somewhat unforgiving but I choose it so I was stuck with it. Read the contract carefully so that you can negotiate terms. I did not. But all in all they were very fair, very helpful. I would use them again.
