We highly recommend Brea Roofing. We had two layers of existing roofing, a flatter upper portion with 23 solar panels, numerous dry rot/termite damaged fascia boards on our house. Justin came out, consulted with us, recommend product which would look good, and perform well. His team showed up in force, removed the solar panels and stockpiled them neatly, stripped off the two layers of existing roofing, then replaced all of the perimeter facia boards. As we had skipped boards, they covered all in a reflective plywood which insulated our house, and reduces energy consumption. Then they installed all new Presidential TL composition Shingles, metal trim and valleys, and replaced the solar panels with all new hardware and waterproof boots for all of the new anchor hardware. Each day the team cleaned up after themselves and worked consistently until finished. They also coordinated all of the many inspections required by the city. Brea Roofings attention to details and quality is the best! Speaking with many of their employees, most have been with Brea Roofing for 25, 30, 35 years. They are a very organized, professional company. They are tops! I highly recommend them.

Victor was very honest and upfront about how busy he was when I called asking for a repair estimate but, as he promised, he came out when he could to observe my roof and I had a quote within a few days. His workers were professional and courteous and were impeccable at both clean up and communication on what the next steps were. I would highly recommend using them. It's rained significantly since the repairs and I have had ZERO issues.

They did our roof on our previous house. Everything went really well, and we loved our beautiful roof. When we eventually sold our house, the new buyer really was tough to deal with on several fronts. In regards to the roof, Brea Roofing came out and explained in detail to the new buyer information about the roof. Not only did they do a beautiful job on the roof when it was installed, they continued to back their work and came out almost 10 years later to help us during our sale. I’m calling them today to schedule work on our new home.

Sorry for the long post, but something needed to be said.

If anyone is looking for a roofing company my I suggest you NOT use Brea Roofing.  If you want a good, honest roofing company I suggest using OC Roofing.

We were quoted $750 for the repair  of 30-40 broken roof tiles.  We were also told that work would start in early May.  The job was done in about 2 hours and it was finally completed the last week of July.  We had to keep reminding them that we needed them to do the work.  Why I stuck with this company I'll never fully understand,  but it did turn out to be a huge mistake.

After receiving several quotes, we went with Brea Roofing because they were a small, family owned business and were well received in the community.  I'm not sure if they're always this dishonest or if they're trying to recover from this pandemic by scamming customers, but I feel sick having been taken advantage of in this way.

My complaint is that they quoted us $750 to repair 30-40 roof tiles,  but once they finished the job they charged us over $1500.  They claimed that the quote stated that the $750 was only for "roof maintenance" and 5 tiles.   I have text messages that stated that they were replacing 30-40 roof tiles and that was the quoted price.

We were given a quote from another roofer, OC Roofing Company,  that stated we had 70 broken roof tiles and the charge would be $1800 to fix the tiles.   So basically,  we ended up paying over $1500 for half the work. Bait and switch is a really crummy way of doing business.

When I voiced my displeasure they acted as if nothing was wrong with that way of doing business and kept saying that they have been in business for over 34 years and my tiny little issue was of no concern to them.  Bad customer service if you ask me.

In the end, all I can do is warn you about this company.  I'm not one to complain about a business,  but this seems egregious.  I would have hoped that they would honor their original quote of $750 for the 30 tiles they replaced (which looked like previously used tiles,  might I add), but they laughed me off instead.

My advice,  do NOT use Brea Roofing unless you have money and months to waste.

Brea Roofing installed an aluminum roof on our home over 15 years ago. It came with a lifetime warranty plus 35 years to the next owner. We have never had problems with the roof and it looks great. Later, Brea Roofing returned to extend the roof over a framed- in sunroom, and it blends perfectly with the original roof. Also, when we had a leak in our breakfast room wall, Brea Roofing returned and determined that the leak was caused not by a roof problem but by improper flashing where two walls met. They promptly removed the stucco, installed flashing, and replaced the stucco. They did a complete job, and we have had no more issues.
