First, I will say that being from the Los Angeles area, I was thrilled that when I requested estimates for painting my dad’s home in Arroyo Grande, that I received three of four requests in a timely way. Thanks Central Coast!!

But I hired Brilliant Painting not just because Jimmy met me in person and explained options, but he was respectful of my 94 year old dad’s participation in the process. And while I thought I had a pretty specific list of tasks so I could compare apples to apples, he brought ideas to the table that allowed me to simplify and work just with his company, and delivered a prompt and fair estimate. Beyond the painting, he was willing to add on roof power washing, which seriously made all of the difference in the world in the final appearance of the home.

Additionally, he also had the skills to add on guards for the rain gutters, and power washed a LOT of concrete (driveway and patio) for an hourly rate to finish the project. This pricing allowed my dad an affordable approach and the flexibility to agree to the extras. The quality of the work went beyond my expectations. The house went from looking like a state park ranger station from the 1990s, to an updated beachy home in the woods. We will work on the landscaping next, but my dad and I are thrilled with the overall improved look. Thanks to Jim and his excellent communication, and to his crew for a job well done!!
