Took my Expedition to a Ford Dealership to change the battery on my key fob but after it wouldn't work parts & service department said I needed a new key fob which would've cost close to $300 without programming it. So I called Burdeshaw's Lock & Smith and they said they can test the signal just bring my truck. Did that and within 5 minutes my old key fob was working like it was brand new. Thanks I'll definitely be back to get my new key fob programmed.

I needed a key made for my 09 Toyota Camry due to losing the only key I had so I called and asked for service where I even offered to pay the $250 up front because I thought that would be the case. The gentleman advised me that I would pay after the key was made. They responded quickly and were at my house within a couple of hours. However, the guy that came out seemed to have trouble making the key work for my ignition. He was only able to get the key to unlock the door and open the trunk. He asked me over and over if I was sure that the key I had worked for the doors and starting the car. I kept telling him yes as the key I had was the only one I ever had for the car. He brought out vise grips, a hammer and screw driver and I started getting nervous but wasn't sure if it was needed as this was the first time I had gone through something like this. Once the guy realized that he wasn't going to be able to successfully make a key, he suggested that I have him take the ignition with him and him bring it back as there must be something wrong with it as to why the key can't be made for the ignition. I asked if it made sense for that since my previous key worked just fine and he said no that it wouldn't make sense for the ignition to have an issue if my old key worked. He still insisted on taking it with him and now it would be $450 instead of $250. I called my boyfriend to come home because I'm super uncomfortable at this point because I feel like I'm being played. The guy told me that if he didn't take the ignition with him, it would be $80 for the service call. I was confused because that was never told to me when I initially tried paying up front. My boyfriend ended up contacting the company and they told the guy not to worry about the $80 service charge and to just leave. We ended up calling Firehouse Lock & Key in Marianna, FL and they came out within a couple of hours as well. While they were $100 more, they had two keys (one for the doors and ignition and one just for the doors) made for us within 30 minutes of being here. I'm not saying that this place isn't capable as they have multiple great reviews. I'm just sharing my poor experience.

First time here and needed a new key fob for my car. Dealer wanted $400 with an appointment. I walked in and was set in under 10 minutes for much less than what the dealership wanted. Great people, friendly and amazing service! I will be recommending them to family and friends!

I needed 2 key fobs programmed for my 2012 Ram 2500 and was having difficulty finding a reasonably priced solution in the Enterprise area.

I called Burdeshaw’s and they confirmed that they program key fobs. I brought 2 fobs in that I ordered online (many places require that you buy the fobs from their business and charge an exorbitant amount for them), and we had both programmed and the keys cut within 10 minutes.

Very reasonable cost ($65 for the first and $10 for the additional fob programming) and very pleasant people to deal with. I highly recommend them for this service alone!

I wanted to have some rekeying done for my mother at her home, so I called Burdeshaw’s. Terry came the next day to do the job. I had some other door handles that we had tried to install ourselves and were unsuccessful. He installed those as well, even though it wasn’t on his schedule. I told him we could schedule another time for him to come back, but he wanted to do whatever we needed and he said it would cost us more for another service call. He also pointed out some other problems with locks that we were unaware of and helped with that. He said he wanted everything to be done right and that he was doing it as if it were for his own mother. I appreciated his work and his attitude so much and I would highly recommend this company for any of this type of work you may need. Thank you, Terry!
