Unfortunately this company takes complete advantage over the people of Avalon and offer little to no solutions. They are aware of almost complete monopoly they have over internet providers and realize they can charge high rates for absolute terrible quality. For a town who prides itself on being a tight community, CBS is an absolute embarrassment. I hope that the town bands together and complains to the BBB enough that they will see positive change for once.

Overpriced and slow service. Pay $80 a month for 15 MB/s DL and 3 MB/s UL. But I usually am getting speeds closer to 1 or 2 MB/s DL and .6 or .4 MB/s UL. There is no other available service on the island and they know it, so they do nothing to improve their service. Even when trying to get a tech, they don't call you back for 3 or 4 days.

Horrible internet service! I live here on Catalina Island and Catalina Broadband Solutions is our only option for internet. With that said we kinda just have to deal with it and they know. It feels like they take advantage of that. Half of the time service is down and the other half it is spotty. I have honestly given up on calling customer service all they say is turn off then on your router. It is the worst internet service I have experienced!!!

Called them on the phone for them just hang up on me also there phone number is pretty bugged I couldnt get passed the answering machine since it wasn't taking inputs. The only thing good about them is that it's the only cable company on the island. God forbid you ask them to set something up for you.

Very unreliable but its really the only option other than using a hotspot. I've found it difficult to stream 1080p on one device with 50Mbps service :/
