Coastal West Painting just completed painting our house in Berkeley. We will totally use Kevin and Coastal West painting again when we need a painter. He is the first painter to actually work with his crew. I had other painters before, where they just send their crew to do the work. Kevin's pricing was the most reasonable and fair, and he was very patience with us as it took us two years to finally book a date. Great professionalism on his part. His crew did a good job. Our house looks great and we're putting it on the market, so we will for sure get top dollars. They completed the work on time and within the estimated budget. I recommend him for anyone... he's a good guy, environmental, and professional.

Ken just finished a great job in my house. We needed a new coat of paint in our living room, which included a set of built in bookcases that I had built from scratch and installed over several months. His rates were reasonable, service was friendly and professional, and he went out of his way to make sure we loved the room before he considered the job complete. My brothers and I contracted with Kevin, proprietor of Coastal West Painting, to paint the exterior of an apartment building we own. As part of our due diligence, we contacted four competing firms, each more than happy to submit proposals. Kevin painted the exterior of our house and did a terrific job. He and is crew were timely and professional, always neat and available to answer questions. We gave Kevin our sample colors and he suggested some others and it wasn't until he was almost done that I was congratulating my wife on picking such good colors that she reminded me we actually chose one Kevin's suggestions! He's got a great eye so listen to what he has to say. We specially like he is a licensed contractor and lead certified; keep that in mind if you have children in your house. Our house looks great and we couldn't be happier.

Coastal West Painting did an outstanding job painting my place. It is older, and has a lot of various trim and wainscot, To make it challenging there have been many different repair and remodels over the decades. It seemed very challenging.

Kevin, of Coastal West, fully explained the various options to deal with all of this. Together we agreed upon a very workable plan. My schedule was tight, and he was able to juggle his a bit to do the job in the time I had available. That was a big relief.

Lastly, and maybe most importantly, he gave me a bunch of good tips on how to come up with colors that both I want and which would compliment the place. It all come together perfectly. I highly recommend getting a quote from Kevin at Coastal West. Coastal West does great work.
