I recently used a charging station that is supposed to provide Hyperfast 350KW charging, but unfortunately, the speeds were far below expectations. The charging speed was consistently between 100KW to 108KW, which is significantly lower than what is advertised.

Additionally, the charging rate is $0.36 per minute instead of per KW. It almost feels like a tactic to prolong charging times and increase costs. This situation is frustrating, and I believe it requires immediate attention to ensure that customers receive the speed and service they are paying for.

I contacted customer support regarding slow charging speeds at this location and I was advised to try another charger here. Unfortunately, the speeds on this charger are even low, reaching only 70 to 80KW. I was told a report would be filed, but that no assistance could be provided since I was still able to charge at lower speeds. This is unacceptable and feels like I’m being penalized for an issue outside of my control.

Wow super fast! 24% when I arrived I got to 80% in 18 mins. The station advertise up to 350.0 kW I got 193.9 kW; however I wasn’t dissatisfied at all. These are located at Mercedes welcome center, I think is the name of the area, but they are big and bright. The area is nice, clean, and a great place to stretch your legs.

Open 24 hours, and really fast chargers! Great place to stop. I stopped at night, so the visitors center wasn't open, but I assume that would make the stop even better!
All of the chargers are 350 kW and in good working order!

These are the newest version of Electrify America's charging stations. There are six 350KW chargers capable of outputting at 500 amps. There are no CHAdeMO connections, only CCS1. I believe with this new generation of charging hardware the advertised 350KW output is shared between two chargers (i.e. the power output is split between stations 1 & 2, 3 & 4, and 5 & 6) so ideally you want to keep an open charger between you and someone else if you have a car that can take the full 350KW. There is nothing to do nearby unless you are stopping on a weekday during the business hours of the MBUSI visitor center so plan accordingly.
