I want to report to whoever is in charge, your customer service SUCKS!!!! I didn't receive a single mail or email about a past due payment or any type of payment and got my water shut off without notice EVEN THO I SET IT UP FOR AUTOPAY!. I'm sure this falls under some violation I will find out. If I have to get a lawyer for emotional abuse and verbal abuse of how you allow your representative to talk to people then I will. You need better customer service. Not only that when they did come back to turn on my water they didn't knock to tell me to open the sink, so irresponsible, I wish there was somewhere else to go. Is there a petition on this location or something i can join can we declare a petition to the state or the city please let me know.

After years of dealing with a Democrat run city water & sewer department it was a pleasure to move to the Foothills 36 years ago.
I’ve had several properties and the service by far west has always been outstanding.
Payment is so easy just write your check attach the bill and drop it in the drop slot at their office.
Their rudeness of some of the customers is unbelievable if these rude people want to be treated like Hollywood stars go to Hollywood and quit belittling our good local services.
I have had properties in three different states and the service was never as good as we have here and I guess theses unhappy people should move back home.

Can't do any kind of auto pay, can't pay over the phone, charge a "convenience" fee to pay online. For forcing you to pay online (or in person) their website is not intuitive at all. I forgot some of the details to log into my account and only thing they could do for me was wipe out the account and have me reregister 24 hours later. Never had an issue with their attitude when I call in, but man these guys are the most inconvenient utility service I have ever dealt with, and as traveling military, I've dealt with a lot!

UGH...Absolutely horrific "customer service" and I use the term "service" very loosely!

First, I am unsure why utility monopolies are allowed but, the Foothills has a big one, a big problem, the results, stinky water and high prices!

Far West Water and Sewer is THEE water utility provider for the Foothills...but, I think we all agree the lack of competition has NOT benefited the customer.

Second, this morning I felt this overwhelming need to call FWWS to explain to them how terribly inconvenient it was to have my water shut off at 0700 in the morning! I wanted to hear a company representative explain to me why they did not call me, or text me, or email me, or send me a letter or a carrier pigeon to inform me they were going to shut my water off.

The real kicker is that they receive, payment each month via a direct drawn and mailed bank check. This month was no exception, as a matter of record, the check was delivered to their office seven days ago.

The rep with whom I spoke told me I had not paid my bill. She told me I can send her a copy of the front and back of my check and she will look into it...(I did tell her I bet she would look into it a hell of a lot quicker if her water was off).

I SENT THE CHECK INFORMATION AND YET MY WATER REMAINS OFF TONIGHT.

To top off the failures of this sub par company, Far West:
1) The technicians shut your water off far earlier than the office opens
2) The technicians go home far earlier than their offices staff, thus no re-connect until the following day
3) They charge $70 reconnect fee...but, only if it is their fault (determined by them)

Have to love the checks and balances...like putting a rooster in charge of a hen house.

They answer the phone promtly, and have always been efficient, professional, and polite. But they don't facilitate payment options since they charge a $2 fee for paying online to their already high prices for their services, and they don't even provide you with an envelope like many other companies do. Plus, forgetting to make ONE payment does not call for a disconnection notice! Clearly they know they can be awful since they're the only company to provide this service in the area.

Yeah, you can make your payments online now, but it'll cost you $2.00 per transaction. A water bill of $75 per month, regardless of whether you have the service turned on or off, IS exorbitant, AND they have the monopoly on this area. I'd sure like to see how that money is spent. The company needs to be sold to a utility company who knows how to manage and grow a business and provide up-to-date customer service features on their website.

It is too bad that this is the only company that supplies water for my neighborhood. I just moved in three days ago and normally you have a grace period to get everything in order. They shut my water off with absolutely no warning or courtesy contact and then charged me $80 on top of set up fee's, deposit, and then reconnect same day charge. To top everything off was how bloody rude and unprofessional customer service I recieved from the two gals working there. An horrid experience from the start!

They really take advantage of the snowbirds in the Yuma Foothills. When you leave and have your water/sewer turned off, if you come back within 12 months they will back charge you $55.95 per month for sewer charges even though you weren't there and did not use their services. They clearly know that you're going to be back within that time frame. The snowbirds bring an abundance of income to the area every year, but Farwest doesn't seem to care and you can clearly tell when speaking to the customer service representatives on the phone. This company is not community oriented, they are focused on one thing and that's how much money they can get from people, who for the most part are already on limited income.
