I would no longer recommend Glacier Point Services, they left my 85 year father with an incomplete job and a hefty bill. When we requested a statement that reflected actual time and material, they refused and yelled at us, stating that we have to pay the quote amount. Irregardless of a change in job scope or the original quote, the work performed is all that a customer should have to pay. Unorganized, demanding, inconsiderate, rude as well as unprofessional. Two thumbs down. If I were not here to stand up for my Dad, they would have took him to the cleaner & took advantage of him further. Bad business!

I asked for an under the slab sewer line inspection with their camera. When the technician showed up he looked at the toilet flange and said their camera wouldn't fit. Then charged me $155 for 1 hr of labor. They should let a person know the minimum size pipe they are able to inspect. Time and money wasted.

They were just here. I called and within a few hours and guy got after it. Pushed 75' into sewer main. 1 guy and he knew what he was doing, good equipment. The cost was only 160 dollars. Would use again.

I had scheduled an outhouse pump for September 21st and quoted me $365 for the pump. They called 4 days before my scheduled pump to tell me that they could no longer make it on the scheduled day and would have to reschedule me for the middle of October. I expressed my concerns about the outhouse freezing up before that time and they said they would see what they could do. They rescheduled me for the 16th of September and came to pump the outhouse. On the 19th I checked my statement to see if they had charged me yet. They charged me $515 dollars. I called and asked why they had charged me $150 more than the quote, to which the scheduler responded "It was an emergency pump". I never authorized any kind of emergency nor did they at any point make it clear that is what they were doing. I was upset. I told them they need to refund the emergency fee or I would issue a charge back. The lady then hung up on me. I called back and she continued to argue and interrupt me and hung up on me again. I called back again and asked to speak to the owner, to which she replied "he's on vacation" which is pretty convenient if I you ask me.

I found her rude and dishonest not to mention there was no communication to me that there would be any kind of emergency fee.

To be clear the actual service they provided was perfectly fine.

We needed our laundry drain pipe thawed and our plumber had recommended Homestead. So we set up an appointment with Homestead where I stayed home from work to be available for them to come. I didn’t received a call in the morning like I was told I would, I called twice through out the day to confirm where I was told someone would be out in the afternoon, and eventually they closed and had never sent anyone. They called the next day like they didn’t miss an appointment that I confirmed twice. Instead we had Glacier Point come out and they called in the morning as they said they would. They arrived before noon and had our pipes dethawed within an hour and a half. They were reasonably priced, quick, professional, and most of all they showed up. Despite other reviews, I recommend Glacier Point for thawing.

I always liked Stack Company (same company who started this own) and have sent a lot of business to Glacier Point over the years. But twice in a row now I sent clients who were treated very badly, and even after years of being a customer and sending dozens and dozens of clients, when I called (from the hospital to boot) to try and sort a situation out for a client where a very expensive repair had been done improperly, they were rude and adversarial. In one house the tech made a really big mess, left sewage footprints, melted the wax ring at a toilet and don’t replace it. At another they billed for nearly $1000 in line clearing and did not actually unclog the line. They assured the client they would be back within the week and never showed up. They blamed that on the “tech not being responsible for scheduling.” They blamed the client for not calling again faster. They also wrote a credit card down incorrectly and then said I must have given them the wrong number. Lastly, we have a third party company that has tried to reach them on a contract and never can. I finally today asked to speak to an owner and both the female admins were nasty and dismissive, and I doubt the message will even be conveyed. I would not refer a client to them again, or use them myself.

All customers should be treated well, but when you have spent thousands and referred many thousands of dollars in business to them and the staff is nasty to you when they’re wrong and you’re calling from the hospital...not a company worth working with.

A young man was sent out for a straightforward steam of our kitchen drain and pipes. He did the job well. I am happy with his work.

It would be courteous, however, to remove shoes in the house or put on booties and to clean up the mess one makes. It wasn't a terribly large mess, but it irked me that I had to clean the kitchen floors so it wouldn't get tracked around the house.

Ticket # 12061, 27 DEC 22, Plummer charged me 800.00 to thaw a water line and replace the water pump. Nice guy although he forgot to crimp the top SHARK Bite, could not get a prime. Told me that my water line was broke on the outside of the house. 5 Months later before I started the Dig process I requested a second look from a different company, they discovered that the problem was the SHARK BITE not being crimped pump primed right up once it was tight. Thats a long time to wait to have to shower and do laundry in your own home. Moral of the story, is get a second opinion if you are not real comfortable with the work of the first team.
