This was a 5 star business until a few weeks ago. I noticed a change in smell and taste in the water. Contacted them about it and was told they are now using all surface water from Greers Ferry Lake instead of pump out of ground.
We as consumers was never told something was going to change with the water or quality. Very disappointed in the company and now I have to go buy a whole house water filtration/softener system because the water sticks and taste horrible to me now.

Aaron Brockovich will probably be down in a few years investigating why people have became sick and ill.

Super sweet woman helped us turn on our water for our new home. Very friendly and made sure to answer any questions we had. Plumber who came to inspect our water lines on our new build was also extremely friendly...And took his shoes off before coming inside!

I am closing on a home in the area on tomorrow & I had to drop by in order to have the water switch over to my name. There was a young lady who assisted me, & a lady sitting at a desk who worked there as well. When I tell you they were amazingly kind, that is an understatement! I didn't know what to expect being one of the only few brown people in the area. They really and truly made my day! So much so, that I'm going to think of something special to do for them, when I get settled. I wish I remembered their names....

I have a rental property on Deller rd in Austin
I have been trying to evict my renters since aug 2019 for non payment. The water account was in my name . On sept 1 I made a final payment on my water bill and requested the water be turned off. I was assured the water would be turned off and I would not be billed anymore. My renters have refused to leave. I have contacted the water co. Twice since then and was assured both times that the water was off. On Oct 22 I received a bill from the water co. for waa 129.05 which included a charge of 100.00 for THEFT. I contacted the manager at the water dept. and he informed me that I was responsible since the account was in my name. I disagreed with him and he said he would investigate and get back to me. A couple of days later he called me and said he would reduce the theft charge to 50.00 if I would pay the bill. I do not understand or agree how I could be charged with theft. He said the renters had broken the lock and I was responsible
I am an honest person and have always paid my bills but I cannot be responsible for someone else's actions. At this time at a loss for what to do and am considering legal advise.
