Tree trimmers ran over a small landscape light in my yard, which subsequently worked only randomly. I contacted H.A. Electric Co. for an estimate to repair it. Riley, of H.A. Electric, showed up, assumed the problem was likely just a loose connection, and decided to simply fix the problem rather than bothering with an estimate. She spent 15 minutes or so tinkering with wires in the fixture base box and reported it was good to go. Skeptical, I jiggled the bulb in the fixture to test it. It still went on and off as it wiggled; clearly no better off than before Riley touched it. Riley was confident that I simply needed to clean the contacts in the bulb receptacle and it would be good. I asked her to do it, still skeptical that that was the solution. Riley told me she didn't have anything in her truck with which to clean it. (She usually did, but she didn't then.) She was sure that was all it needed though. She asked for $90 for her service, which I foolishly paid, and Riley was on her merry way. I quickly followed through with Riley's instruction, purchased cleaner for the receptacle, thoroughly cleaned the receptacle, and was very 'unsurprised' that it made no difference at all. I contacted H.A. Electric to inform Riley. Riley asked for pictures of the lamp receptacle; she would search for a replacement. And that was the end of Riley, (almost.) She failed to follow up with any news of a possible replacement, with any offer to further troubleshoot the damaged fixture, or to any of my requests for a refund for the phony repair. I called and texted intermittently for nearly a year to no avail. Riley simply ignored every further attempt to contact her. But, as the saying goes, a great place to meet women is at the grocery store. I recognized Riley right in front of me in the check out lane just over a year later. To be certain, I asked, "are you an electrician." She told me, "no." Unfortunately for her, she couldn't keep a straight face. Despite momentarily forgetting she was an electrician and repeatedly forgetting to return my calls over the past year, she boldly claimed to remember that she told me I needed to replace my landscape light and that the $90 she charged me was her 'just-for-showing-up fee.' LOL Cute and charming, but deceptive and unethical. I never even got an estimate, which was all I asked for in the first place; just a $90 service fee for an unfixed fixture. No more H.A. Electric for me. And no, grocery stores aren't great places to meet women.

I requested an estimate in July to have my main panel box updated. Riley showed up within the hour. She had some great suggestions for the update. I was told I'd be contacted in a few days with an estimate. After a week I still had not been contacted. I called and left a voicemail. I still had not been contacted. It is now September and again I called and left a voicemail to inquire about a estimate. I received no reply. At this time I've decided to contact other electrical companies for the job.

Scheduled a residential appointment with owner and no one showed or called on day of appointment. Called to reschedule and left 3 messages and have not heard back. No follow-up or reply. Would not recommend.
