I recently was passing through the area on my way to Wisconsin from Tennessee when the bearing in the differential on my truck went bad. I noticed a humming for a long time, which I ignored (don't do that!) and when I finally pulled into a rest stop, it was making a terrible sound and smoke was coming from that area under the truck. It was a Sunday so I made it a hotel for the night and the next morning found HK Auto who said they would look at it. It was the day before Christmas Eve and somehow they found the parts, had them delivered and by that afternoon I was on my way. They let me bring my pups in from the cold, bought me lunch and offered me Christmas cookies left by regular customers. When my old dog was trying to sleep on the floor, one of the mechanics asked about her being uncomfortable. I told them I had their dog beds in the truck but had not thought to get them out before it was put up on the lift. Two minutes later, he walked in with their beds! They could not have been kinder or made me feel more comfortable. The price was reasonable and I couldn't believe I made it home in time for Christmas Eve. I highly recommend them. Another customer (a regular) in the waiting room told me if I was going to break down, I couldn't have picked a better place! Thank you Dakota, Dianna, Gary and Marcus!!

My water pump burst on my Yukon during my travel back home to Kentucky from Indianapolis while driving on I65S. I quickly looked up auto repair shop and found HK Auto repair. They were so kind and helpful to work me in to repair my vehicle so I could get back on the road. Great place, honest people, and great service. Thank you for taking care of the traveler.

I received a quote for replacement of a air suspension compressor. 3200.00
They said the part cost 2000.00 from the dealership. Doing my due diligence I called a dealership in North Vernon. They quoted 1185.00 total. Part is actually only 900.00
Always do your due diligence. Won't be going back and will not be recommending to take your vehicle there.

I stopped here when my compressor went out mid road trip. They were able to get my car in and fixed in 24 hours. The staff was so friendly and helpful! My son enjoyed playing with the toys in the waiting room and looking at all the cool decorations around the place

So take my jeep to HK for brake work. Pay for it and pick it up after hours. Start it and check engine light is on and it wasn't when I dropped it off. Drove 8 miles home pull in the garage to discover the a coolant leak. Coincidence? I took it back for them to fix radiator and engine light 3 days later. Picked it up and engine light was still on and they said I could bring it back 6 days later
So 500ish for brakes 500 for radiator, check engine light is still on. I did gain a knife and a pick tool of some sort. What I can't figure out is where do these two screws go. All were found on the front bumper. Never again.

Update..they failed to put two of six grill pins in.

My car is running better than it has since I bought it!! H&K is fantastic. Great mechanics and very friendly staff. Very reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend H&K. I won't go anywhere else.

Great service today! Travelling from Atlanta to Milwaukee, I heard brakes grinding when we stopped for dinner Sunday evening. So, we got a hotel and showed up at H&K first thing (7:30) Monday morning. Before 10:00 am we were back on the road with brakes fixed and a more than fair price. Thank you!

This auto service company was very helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. My family and I were having car trouble after weekend of camping and their owner fit us in even though they were booked up and personally changed our alternator and serpentine belt. Thank you so very much!!! Your service was a blessing to us and we could not ask for a better bunch of people. Thank you for your hospitality as well while we sat and waited for it to get fixed. We need more people in our world like you all. Thank you again for making a very stressful day a much better day.
