This is why I am glad I have home warranty as a customer of AHS, very thankful for the home warranty and the plumbing company they have assigned to me. Had so many issues with my home and this excellent company fixed all of my worries! First off I had a problem with my garbage disposal that was not shredding the food properly making the sink clog up so much after washing dishes. It was such a hassle trying to wash dishes up until these gentleman changed out the garbage disposal that is now able to shred food probably now making my life so much better without having to use a water bottle to make my sink unclog. Second, I had some leaking thru the ceiling from my upstairs bathroom pipelines, they went straight to that first before the garbage disposal problem and were quick and efficient with their work. Couldn’t express how good their service was would highly recommend. They were really flexible with scheduling and were on time to my appointment. The office lady had a great and sweet positive attitude the whole time while I was on the phone with her trying to schedule an appointment, couldn’t be happier with her service. The workers as well I wanted to recognize them as well for their fast and efficient work when they came to my home. Hill about a week later called and checked up to see if I had no more leakage and if there was no more problems with my garbage disposal, I couldn’t thank him enough and told him everything was perfect and thanked him so much for his excellent service. I’ve had service from other companies before but nothing like Hill’s General Plumbing. Recommend 100% Excellent Service!

This whole experience was a scam. First American Home Warranty assigned us to Hill's General Plumbing to fix our hot water heater. We paid $85 fee to have technician come out. He diagnosed the problem as full replacement within 5 seconds of asking where the hot water heater was located. There is no way he truly evaluated the hot water heater, which is located up and behind the house. He told us we would owe him $900 in cash to move forward, and was rude over the phone. We were turned off by his lack of professionalism, and called a more reputable company to come out and work on the water heater. Once we told Hill's we were going with another service provider, Alex called multiple times from different phones, claiming to be a different person, and asking how to move forward. When we finally convinced them we were going elsewhere, Hill's tried to change the claim to just be a part replacement instead of a full water heater replacement, which would have eliminated our ability to get reimbursed from the home warranty company. When we called and fixed that and provided an invoice for the replaced water heater and initiated a cash out, Hill's skimmed over $275 off the top of our cash out amount to cover "labor" and "taxes," even though they provided NO services to us. when we called First American to dispute, they told us, "we're not plumbers, we don't know." We gave up and took the low payout. Hugely disappointed with this whole transaction, both from Hill's plumbing and from First American Home Warranty. Would never recommend either of these services to anyone.

First American Home Warranty assigned them to check out the water heater on the home we just purchased that I couldn’t keep the pilot light on. I wasn’t present at the property when the tech came out and despite me providing instruction on where the access was he called to ask me where it was. Within 2 seconds of me telling the tech where the access door was, he told me water was present in the burner chamber and it would need to be replaced and quoted a price. Given how quick he made the diagnosis on the phone, I wanted a second opinion and got one from a company with meaningfully better reviews. However, Hills still reported to the warranty company that the water heater needed to be replaced. When the tech from the second company came out, I was on site and I asked about the water in the burner chamber and he inspected it and didn’t see any evidence of that whatsoever, however couldn’t get the pilot light to stay lit. I felt slightly deceived by Hills though the water heater still needed to be replaced as it was basically at the end of its normal lifespan anyway. Stay tuned, because so far, I would have maybe given Hills a 3 star at this point. Here’s where the 1 star rating was earned. When Hill’s called me to get the authorization to do the work, I told him that we were going to work with another company to get the work done, and thanked him for his efforts. We ended the call cordially and agreed to cancel then installation from Hills. Immediate he called back and I missed the call but left a voicemail from the same number asking for authorization again. Unorganized? Then, after talking to First American after the water heater was installed by the second company, Hills had called First American updating the work order to be a thermocouple replacement and not an entire replacement. Very sketchy company and I don’t think it would be very difficult to find a more honest company than Hills. Good luck.

Excellent fast service. Went through my home owners insurance to book these guys and they were great. Highly recommend. They replaced our water heater and brought it up to code.

General Hills Plumbing and Felipe did a great job on my pluming repair. This was a First American Home Warranty claim. I am usually skeptical when it comes to vendors from Home Warranty Companies but Felipe exceeded my expectations! He was on time and always returned my texts and calls if I had any questions. He was flexible with scheduling and completed the job in a short amount of time. I appreciate this experience and hope to work with them again!

Not sure who to blame- this "company" or my home warranty provider. Hill's arrived late, didn't call to provide an update, arrived eventually- quickly assessed and said they would call warranty company to get authorization. Told us it's a 4 hr. job and what parts would be needed. More than a week passed and Hill's had not called in an authorization. Hill's does not answer calls and their voicemail stays full. Had to dig around to find another way to reach them via email and got an immediate response to call them directly from Hildebrand Aguilar (Principal of Hill's Plumbing). Called them immediately and they didn't pick up nor did they respond to my second email. Warranty company called them and Hill's reported that they ordered the part and it would take about 3 days to come in. Warranty said I would hear from Hill's to schedule the appointment. Crickets!!!! That was 14 days ago. Now warranty comp. sends a letter stating that Hill's called in the diagnosis 8 days ago and the work will not be covered under my contract. Come on.... 14 days ago the parts were ordered and then 3 days later Hill's called in the diagnosis. Shady to the say the least. I think the warranty companies are contracting with anyone and these "businesses" are not equipped or up to par to do the work. I could be wrong about the warranty company but my experience with both was horrible and my problem has not been fixed. Hill's is running a scam and servicing some calls but not all.

UPDATE revision of 5 stars to 1. The new disposal was not installed to code and caused my dishwasher to malfunction. The warranty sent someone for the dishwasher and I was charged $75 copay but they could not touch the disposal which is working, so I am without my dishwasher now. Hills did not respond to two phone calls from me asking them to complete the installation or to contact from AHS. I told AHS I shouldn’t have to pay again $75 for a disposal not installed to code so they cancelled my service request and said to wait for Hill’s to respond. AHS has guidelines to call back in 30 days but no guidelines for installations being to code. And how was I supposed to have the expertise that the new disposal would stop my dishwasher from draining if installed wrong? So much for my good review. FORMER> ((Hill's General Plumbing was assigned by my home warranty. Alex came out to assess the disposal. There is a shortage of plumbers now and I feel that we need some good young men entering this field like Alex who has a good head on his shoulders and is also has excellent communication skills. He took the time to explain code to me and show me how the old disposal had been installed improperly with putty when the electrical should have been clamped. He also explained by the age of my home why he had to special order a disposal that fits the space. I was working when Eric brought the replacement disposal but everything was clean and proper. It is a nice quality half horse power disposal. The scheduler is excellent and knows the ropes of the business, and also knows the plumbers, keeping everything running smoothly and keeping on track with everyone. I also had to coordinate through the warranty for an electrician but Hill's explained to me what needed to be done and it turned out the way they said. It was inconvenient but it was multi trade and they do not do the electrical which is what I want, I want licensed trades people. (I think from reading some other reviews if people have problems with their warranty coverage they need to go online to contact the consumer division of the Department of Insurance for support. I only had a disposal issue but I would have Alex back again.)))

Hill's Plumbing did a great job! Nancy (in the office) worked with us to get our water heater repaired ASAP so we didn't have to go all weekend without hot water. Hill's techs -- Mario & Armando -- arrived on time and were friendly and efficient. They had the proper parts when they arrived and took the time needed to do the repair right. We recommend Hill's as a company that goes above & beyond the kind of service most plumbers offer.
