A delightful store with very friendly staff!
I needed to pick up a few parts for a project, but there are no more stores quite like this up in San Jose, which is quite ironic considering the history of Silicon Valley.

Everything is well laid-out, the lighting is bright enough without being glaring and cold, and the majority of inventory space is given over to components and parts, rather than cheap electronic doodads like USB fans.

I particularly loved this giant board of switch options.

The only downside is that it's nearly 400 miles away from my house.

I was looking for some slow blow fuses to replace the one that blew in my stereo power amplifier and couldn't find any place locally that carries that particular type of fuse and was referred to JK electronics by Adams electronics in Huntington Beach because they didn't carry them either. So glad to have found this outfit that's been here in my neck of the woods all along and they seem to have a lot of the hard-to-find items that I've been looking for. Definitely have to come back to explore the store more thoroughly because it was 10 minutes to their closing time on Friday night and they are closed on weekends now.

JK Electronics is a great supplier of parts & tools for the novice to the professional skill level. The staff is super cool. They will help you in any way, with out talking down to you because you may not know the answer to a simple question (like me). I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Over all a great shop. Most employees are knowledgeable about several product lines, and there is a lot of them. Prices tend to be pretty good for a brick and mortar, don't forget to check out the clearance stuff they usually have. I've found some incredible deals on clearance! Definitely worth a look if you geek out on anything electrical!! ✌️

Awesome people they answered all my questions. I had no clue on how to wire a power switch and they taught me how to. They walked me threw the process and gave recommendations.

Bought 2 wood flex drill bits here. Bits are made poorly and the shaft broke on both bits within minutes of using in soft wood. Manager on duty refused to even look at these defective bits. They're not cheap at $17.20 each. I brought my receipt and manager would not look at them. This business won't stand by the products it sells.

Very well organized store. It is east to find what your looking for. I got an magnetic tray for metals and it's a cool ashtray for later.
