Laughlin Electric was great. Easy to book an appointment. They sent a reminder of that appointment and info on who was coming. Cody was the best. Arrived when expected. Listened to what I needed sorted out and gave me options on how to go about it. He then quoted me a price and did the work. Basically did everything I would want and expect. They will be my first call for electrical work.

Rob from Laughlin is incredible at his job. He installed a new ceiling fan box and wired a motion-activated closet light where there was no light previously. He was focused on minimizing holes in our walls (very minor paint/stucco rework needed) and was mindful to control dust and debris created during the work. He has significant expertise and was able to offer us a range of options to complete our tasks. I contacted Laughlin Electric through a glowing neighbor referral. I needed a ceiling fan installed where there was no circuit, additional plugs where there were no outlets and a light installed in a closet where there was nothing.

Gabby scheduled my appointment for a few days after the call and she could not have been more pleasant and professional. I got off the phone feeling like I made the right call. Score one for Gabby.

Later, an email with the technician’s name and picture arrived in my inbox. Robert Speulda “Rob” arrived right on time a few days later prepared to go to work.

We walked around the condominium and discussed what I was looking for and where. Rob provided excellent suggestions and insight into helping me make decisions. We sat down at the table and Rob showed me a few options on the scope of the work and the prices. Complete transparency and understanding of what he was going to do and what it would cost. He set lofty expectations for the quality of the work.

Rob spent the next two days carefully, meticulously threading cables, cutting in outlet and fan electrical boxes. He would set up plastic and padded ground cloths to protect the surroundings. He was always doing the right thing, even if it made his task more difficult. And with fixed pricing, I was really impressed at how he went the extra mile to make sure I was happy and impressed with the work. He was polite, professional, and easy to be around.

Honestly, I was dreading this whole job before I called Laughlin Electric. I was afraid of messes; cost over runs, people banging around in my condominium and missed promised appointments. Happily, I was wrong in my anxiety.

The entire experience, work quality and professionalism Rob demonstrated was exemplary. I now highly recommend Laughlin Electric, just like my neighbor. High expectations, yes, but even better results.
