We are pleased with the service we received from Dylan and the others who helped him. We appreciate very much that they were able to get our new grinder pump installed and to help make the repairs to a leaky toilet in our house.
However, there are two things which we are not happy about. We were told that the price of the work would be $3900 to get the work done, which is a real financial burden for us. Dylan told us that the $99 service call would not be charged to us if we had your company do the work for us that needed to be done. When I looked at the receipt that was sent to us, I saw the $99 fee charged to us. I feel that that should be refunded to us since we acted in good faith according to what we had been told.
Our second gripe is that when I called this morning to ask if we could pay using a credit card I was told yes. But NOTHING was said about there being an additional credit card fee that would be assessed if we used a card. The additional $133 that we were charged because we used a credit card just added to the financial burden that we have had with needing to replace the pump. Once again, I feel that Magnolia Plumbing needs to refund that money to us since it was something we didn't know about and could have written a check to pay for the work that was done.
I will be calling on Monday morning to discuss these two concerns. We deserve the benefit of the doubt since we were told one thing about the service call and it didn't happen, as well as not being told the whole story about the additional fee that would come if we used a credit card.
