Are you a complete jerk all the time no matter how nice other people are or how good of a day you are having? Do you have a bad home life that you have to take out on strangers in the form of a power trip? Then you should apply to work as a gate guard, you will be hired on the spot

Somehow I managed to accumulate several gallons of automotive waste oil… the auto parts stores in our area no longer accept used oil(funny how that works out). Called “The Dump” and they were very helpful in describing the process… 1st forty pounds are free, the next 200 pounds is $15 and there are folks to assist in unloading… not bad, not bad at all! Very rude gate guards.. wouldn’t let us in even though it was 5 mins until closing time.
Guy was very rude when we asked if he could fit one more in.
Just wanted to dispose of 2 quarts of used oil after our oil change, nothing major.
He didn’t even let us finish our sentence before cutting us off.
So rude.

It’s a dump, I don’t expect much, but scale house people on a power trip is beyond the pale. It’s a dump not Fort Knox. Besides those wonderful examples, you can dump your trash there.

Very courteous and accommodating. I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going and they made sure to help me out. Plus the eagles were worth the trip alone

The frequent lines that are Frequently backed Up sometimes in excess of an hour to get out is a ridiculous mismanagement by the Matanuska borough!!!

Normally, I would give them 5 stars because it's pretty simple, it's a dump, come throw away your trash and leave. I would say overall, most staff is friendly and very helpful, especially on the field. However, the guy at the gate is not polite at all. The ones that close the gate at the end of the day. Got mad that I pulled up to the gate instead of stopping to chat at 4:59pm and told the guy not to let me in, even though i still had a minute. It's pretty irritating when it's the second day like that. Stood a long time in line, and then they hold u up just a min or two and tell u its 5pm. I understand they want to be done right on the clock, but they are disrespectful. They don't care what it took for you to get here. Try being more understanding of people with crazy work schedules that's trying to make it here on time!!!
