I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Plum-Tech Inc. has compelled me to share just how atrocious their service is. From the moment I stepped into their office, it was clear that this company operates under a toxic culture fostered by their owner, Mark. Rather than leading with integrity, Mark seems to delight in undermining his associates, creating an atmosphere of fear and mistrust.

The worst part? Mark fires employees based on the bold-faced lies told by customers. It’s shocking to witness the dismissal of hardworking individuals simply because someone decided to spread falsehoods. This kind of leadership not only demoralizes the staff but also showcases a serious lack of judgment and fairness.

Toxic Leadership

Mark, the owner, seems to have a fundamental misunderstanding of what it means to lead a team. Instead of fostering an environment of support and collaboration, he thrives on creating divisions among his associates. It’s alarming to see how he reacts to customer complaints; rather than addressing issues constructively, he often takes the word of a customer over that of his employees. This blatant disregard for his team’s hard work is demoralizing and creates a culture of fear. Employees are constantly walking on eggshells, worried that one false accusation could lead to their termination.

Cody, who is one of their customers, is a master of deception. It’s clear he harbors a personal vendetta against certain associates. I overheard him openly hoping for someone to lose their job, which is not only unprofessional but downright malicious. It’s hard to believe that such toxic behavior is tolerated in any workplace, let alone one that claims to provide quality service but can't fight for or trust their employees. Great leaders will fight for their team, not fire them to save a contract. Bad practice and example of bad leadership within the company. Mark doesn't deserve to have a business that operates on bad practices.

In a world where businesses should prioritize integrity and respect, Plum-Tech Inc. is an example of everything that’s wrong. This company doesn’t deserve to be in business if it continues to operate in such a harmful manner. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for services that value their employees and customers alike.

Lack of Accountability

What’s even more troubling is the lack of accountability within the organization. When faced with complaints, Mark chooses to sidestep responsibility and instead scapegoats his associates. This is not only unjust but also detrimental to the company’s reputation. Customers can sense the tension among staff, which undoubtedly affects the quality of service they receive. A business that does not stand by its employees will inevitably crumble, and it’s clear that Plum-Tech is on that path.

In conclusion, Plum-Tech Inc. is a company that seriously needs to reevaluate its practices and leadership. With Mark at the helm, and individuals like Cody perpetuating a culture of deceit and malice, it’s no wonder that the service is consistently poor. This company does not deserve to be in business if they continue to treat their associates and customers with such disdain. I urge anyone considering their services to think twice and seek out a company that truly values its employees and clients.

Only the second time I've taken the time to post a review, but I was so pleased with my experience with Plumb Tech, I wanted to share it with others who may be searching for a plumber like we were. We'll definitely be using Plumb Tech from now on, and it's a relief we have a plumber we can trust if we need them again in the future...

Our home is a significant distance from the main highway, and since we don't live within the city limits, we are responsible for the pipes from the main highway to our home. We also have a water pump to increase water pressure, since our house sits up a hill.

We recently had a major leak and were without water for over a week. We'd worked with multiple other plumbers, but they were unable to resolve the issue, and were really at a loss on what to do next. I called Plumb Tech in desperation, and spoke to Mark to explain the situation. He listened to me at length, and assured me he and his crew would stay on the job as long as it took to identify and fix the problem, and he was true to his word and then some.

Mark, Blake and their crew were over at our house 7:30 am each morning and stayed past 9:00 pm to ensure the job was completed to our satisfaction and as quickly as possible. Mark showed me the problems as he found them, so I understood them and was kept aware of the progress being made.

They found and repaired two leaks, re-plumbed the pump house pipes where there was another major leak we already knew about, and installed a new water pump to replace the one that was completely burned out (had been in the house over 25 years and had not been working properly since we moved in). Not only do we have water, but the water pressure that has been weak since we moved in is now better than at any of our previous homes.

Karen does an amazing job running the office - very organized, kind and understanding of our situation, and the price was reasonable, especially considering the amount of time, effort and materials that went into the job.

Thank you Mark, Blake, Karen and crew! You are the best, and it is so nice to finally have a plumber we can rely on. Thank you very much!

I normally don't write reviews. However, I just couldn't let this slide. I Had a leak on the 1st floor ceiling. Plumber cut numerous holes on my walls & ceiling trying to locate the water leak. After 3 hours & $468 later, they determined that the leak was coming from the washer machine. I would think with today's technology that they can purchase a "moisture detector" before punching holes in my walls & ceiling. This is unacceptable. I tried to resolve this problem with the owner but he did not owned up their disaster. I guess I just have to wait to hear from my claim adjustor.

My electric water heater began to break down so I needed to find someone to replace it. I chose to call Plumb Tech Inc. first simply because their building is on old 31 and I passed it every time I took that route home. When I called on Tuesday the lady who took my call was very professional and quickly answered all of my questions. I explained my needs, told her that I lived in a mobile home and offered to give her the basic information on my old water heater. She took the information and promised me a call back from a representative named Mark. He contacted me later that same day to get some additional information on the space in which the water tank would need to be installed. After our discussion I took some pictures of the space and the old water heater and sent them to the office in an Email.
The next day Mark contacted me to inform me that he had found me a water heater and give me the cost for installation. I approved the cost and asked when they could send someone out to install it. I was very pleased when He informed me that they could do it that Friday at 8:00 am and quickly accepted the appointment.
On Friday Josh and Matt arrived promptly at 8 am! They did a quick review of the old tank turned off the water, shut off the power to the old tank and began the process of removing the old water tank. They worked well together and where very efficient. It took only about 2 1/2 hours for them to complete the installation, close up the wall and turn on the water and power.
I plan to call them for any future plumbing issue I might have and will defiantly recommend them to friends and family.

We called this company to discuss the service we needed. We were told a service cost (understandable), but no additional charges if the problem is not fixed. For some reason two men were sent out, which we paid for, & all that was done was turning our faucets on. We paid $150 for someone to run water. When we tried to discuss the charge the owner was very rude & again resolved nothing. We are out of money & still no resolve for the issue. Look elsewhere!

Just had John and Ben come do work at my house. These guys were great, friendly, professional and straight forward. I have quite a few more projects to be done and will request these guys every time. Also spoke with Mark on the phone who understands the meaning of customer service. Very impressed with the level of service from this company. Definitely will use for all my plumbing needs. Highly recommended.
