It was Christmas Eve day and I was feeling a bit guilty scheduling an estimator to come over. But Ari was very pleasant from the get go. He was very thorough with his estimate, scope of work and offered suggestions, answers to my questions. The whole process was fairly quick—40 mins+/-.

Once we agreed on the estimate he had a team scheduled to cover in a few days to install pendants in the kitchen–4 in total. Junior, Andrew and Daniel just finished with the installation and WOW— does the new pendants look great and the kitchen is completely transformed with the new lighting. I am going to highlight why I decided on Powell Electrics.

Estimate Process:
* Ari was prompt and very knowledgable about how best to use, install the pendants
* I had several bids out that ran the range and Powell was willing to work with my budget
* Professional, timely and conscientious of the house

Install Process:
* Junior, Andrew and Daniel were prompt and even a bit early for today’s appointment–always appreciate that
* The team went to work right away and wore feet coverings thru the whole process
* Covered all the surface areas—counters, floors
* Junior took us aside to offer suggestions on where, how low to place the pendants. He also was very receptive to our questions and ideas.
* Daniel and Andrew were equally pleasant, courteous and professional through out the whole installation
* It took longer than I expected—about the whole day but I trust their expertise and craftsmanships
* The team cleaned up after themselves—vacuum, swept, took all the packaging material and floor covering with them

Overall Experience:
* The ease of communication and their promptness was deeply appreciated—easy from my initial call to final payment process
* There were no “hidden” fees or incrimental charges. Every item on the estimate was concise and digestible
* Powell was willing to work with my budget
* Junior, Andrew and Daniel were very professional, timely and respectful of the house

I have used power electric before they came out. Did a wonderful job with a reasonable price. This time they came out to my company for two outlets to be installed they want almost $6000. I thought that was pretty extreme. To replace a couple of wires in the fuse box they want it over $6000. The whole job was gonna run me close to $13,000. I called another company they came out they did it all for $1680.00 including materials.

Miguel and Geo were wonderful! Our job ended up being bigger than they expected, but they did not rush or cut corners. Great work- good communication and they didn’t leave (it was late!) till everything worked just right. The service from Powell was great. William came by and did an emergency assessment. He hit us booked for the next opening (next business day) and the rest of the team followed through. No one wants to spend money on repairs, but Powell made it more manageable.

Will update later if we have the work done, but I had requested a quote and Doug came out and explained everything and showed me everything in detail. I have a very old home (1932) and he was exceedingly knowledgeable. He was professional, knowledgeable and unobtrusive (I work from home, that last one is important). This is my first experience with Powell and so far it's excellent.

Carlos and his assistant Arturo spent the entire day installing 2 beautiful ceiling fans on a14ft vaulted ceiling! They were efficient, amiable and extremely professional! Upon completing the job my mom mentioned another fan downstairs that the remote would not work with. Immediately they went to work figuring out how to get that fan going and even supplied her with a new remote that she could work! “Above and beyond” and would highly recommend!!!

Rudy was professional , polite, and skillful. I am very pleased with his quick installation and the company policy to confirm appointments and be very responsive. I called 3 different electricians who never called back or promised to show but ghosted us. Powell was excellent in customer experience.

From my initial phone call, to their scheduling and assignment of a tech, they proved to be reliable and organized, with clear communication updates.
The tech, Adrian, was punctual, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to immediately identify the problem and went right to work to fix it.
