My wife and i went to the san fernando marble and granite and picked out a slab of granite. Then we were told that there are a lot of companies in this area that can do the job for you. So we went on yelp and decided that Garcia Stone Fabrication was the company we used to do our bathrooms build out a few years ago. When they started working they stained my driveway when they made a cut on the granite and when i asked about it the next day i was told by mario that it would wash off my driveway till this day it is still there i might have to use muriatic acid to remove it. All the measurements for the countertops we're totally incorrect from front to back and side to side. My refrigerator can not fit in the area it was design to go they just pushed in as hard as they could and it has a full dent on the side of it. My wife asked mario if they could removed the existing tile off the wall he told my wife they could remove it with no damage to the walls.I had to replace drywall on all the walls becuse they broke open the walls to the wood framing.There was five pieces of tile around the cooktop that they just broke the pieces off the wood cabinet and left large holds in the wood. There were pieces of tile left on the wall and around the lite switchs. When demoing the tile they hit the cieling while they were demoing and put a large hole in it. There was an area were cabinets were damage. There were 1/4" gaps in all of the countertops right in the front because the countertop was cut to long and then some of them were filled with a filler and then you can see the mesh on the underside of countertop. More work to replaced the wood siding trim because countertop got lifted some how. There was only one joint to be made in all that work and they just cut it and push the sides together and the cuts were not clean cuts so they justed filled the cracks to seal it and now i have a large joint on the countetop next to the sink from front to back of countertop When i was watching them install the first piece i noticed that the cut out for the sink was 2-1/2" off center so then he had to go buy another complete slab for a recut and reinstall.
