I was absolutely scammed and stiffed for money. I had a simple lock that had been locked to my front door. It was a twist lock for a door handle, very standard. Not even the top lock for the front door was locked. The person coming to help me said he would arrive within 20 minutes and then did not arrive for another 40 minutes. He was very unprofessional, did not address me did not introduce himself. Did not give me an original quote until he saw the lock. When he saw the lock and I told him what the situation was, he quoted me $450! I’ve had this done before with a different company, and they only quoted me 150. I declined, and he said he would give me Half off, which would be $230 give or take. he then said it was $250, and as I was in a rush, I had no time to argue. I agreed to the set price of $250 and he opened the lock. It took all of six minutes, and when I paid him the money in cash, I said “there we go two-fifty .” To which he replied “no. Three-fifty.” Might I mention that we were not saying “two hundred fifty dollars” but “two fifty.” I know I did no misspeak because I asked twice for confirmation that it was indeed “two fifty.” However, when I presented him with the cash and he told me it was insufficient, I couldn’t argue because my door was already opened, and the service was already provided. I went into my house with the door open to retrieve more money and he followed me inside and followed me to the room in which I hold my cash. It was all very unprofessional, inconsiderate, and altogether unfair. I will not recommend this business to anyone.

I first called the number listed at 6:36pm. The customer support “Marium” told me she would connect me with a “technician” and call me back. I was called back at 6:39 pm by the “technician” and told he’d be there in 25 minutes (I understand this is subject to change by a FEW minutes due to traffic) he also didn’t answer my question of how much it would be due to the fact he “just have to see it first”. I get a call at 7:26pm!!!! Saying i will be there in a minute. I have to call again because this “technician” is no where to be seen. The same customer support “marium” rudely tells me my “technician” will be there in five minutes. At 7:50 he arrives honking his horn to find us. He looks at it for less than a minute and tells me its going to be 375. This is due to it being “late” but if he came when he said he wouldve it wouldve been less. I then asked his “manager eric” and brought it down to 250. BTW we are two women alone in a parking lot so I had to say yes to this price to get home. He fixed it in ten minutes with a stick and airbags and had me pay him 250. I got scammed.

Called them when I was locked out of my house with my dog, when they were the only ones that could arrive quickly on the weekend, Sean is a life saver!! He arrived in 20 minutes and got me back in the house with no damage and charged a reasonable price! Will definitely use them again if i ever have to!

After a few conversations with the Tech and the Business Owner "Sean", they honored the originally quoted price and reassured me that they would communicate any changes in pricing to their customers. I appreciate the owner reaching out to me directly and offering to make things right. With these changes, I’m confident they will continue to receive 5-star ratings in the future.

Original Review:
Received a quote of $250 for a 2nd key for my car. Once the key was made and it was time to pay, the bill was $400! $!@#@! Why? If you charge me additional money, especially to the tune of $150 over what was quoted, this should have been communicated before moving forward. I am very disappointed with this bait and switch. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone OR be sure to ask them for the total cost a 2nd time before moving forward.
