Five star service! The staff was great! They were professional, engaging and thorough! I received my estimate in just a few minutes, then, was able to make an appointment right away. My appointment was within just a couple of days and the service promised was spot on. They even provided a ride from and to the body shop! Overall super service!

I have nothing negative to say about my experience with Smart Automotive Body Shop! From the very beginning everyone, especially Michael Holder was very friendly, informative & helpful! The part that was needed for my vehicle was on back order for almost 6months!! Michael was able to get a loaner vehicle for me for the time being, so I was not without transportation. At first, I had a car. Later on I was able to request a SUV due to traveling for clinical sites & afraid to get stuck in the snow with the car & Michael was able to help me with that as well with no problem!They kept me up to date with what was going on throughout. When the part finally arrived they were able to get my car put back together and I had my car the next day. I would definitely recommend this body shop to others and continue taking my vehicle here if I have any problems with it. Thank you again!

I took my car to Smart Body Shop in February 2024, a 2022 Lexus IS 300 Eminent White. My car had damage from road debris and had scratches and scrapes on the front bumper in the front lower middle, front lower right, and some of the bottom of the bumper lip. Tom Brennan was the advisor at Smart Body Shop who took care of me.

The body shop did a very nice job on my car. Having been a body shop employee, a detailer, and being OCD about my car, I am a very difficult customer to please or impress. I know what to look for and how. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the work this shop did. I can’t even tell that anything touched the bumper. The blending was done well, the body lines are good, and nothing additional was damaged during the work. The car was returned to me clean and complete, and it was done sooner than I expected. I was also able to pick my car up at 5:30 on a Friday, which was awesome. Tom Brennan and the staff took good care of me. Thank you to the team for treating my car as I would have treated another’s, I very much appreciate it. I would recommend this shop to others.

What an absolutely horrendous place to service your car. These people are far from ethical. Over 4 thousand dollars worth of parts were ordered without any approval. In fact, their estimate was denied and they ordered the parts anyway. They then forced us to pay or they would charge a storage fee. What a pleasure doing business that way.

Since I can’t reply I’ll edit:

Hi Smart Automotive Body Shop! While I in fact did sign an authorization on 12/26/24, I have personal testimony from Mr. Michael Holder stating that he ordered the parts on 12/16/24. So unfortunately your information is incorrect. The work authorization that I signed clearly states “If upon further inspection additional repairs are needed, the primary payee will be contacted for authorization”. Which you guys failed to get when you decided to order parts from a denied/not submitted estimate. You guys then decided to return the parts without giving me a choice. So I did not actually change my mind about any repairs until after I learned they got returned. Lastly, if ordering parts behind a customers back and then waiving storage fees because we caught it is your definition of “courtesy” then we have 2 VERY different definitions of courtesy. Glad we could get that cleared up!

Everyone that I came in contact with at the Smart Body Shop was very professional and friendly. Michael Holder the estimator explained the procedure, I was given a print out of needed repairs and give a approximate date when repairs would be completed..My insurance company paid less than quoted amount but I was reassured that I need not worry about added cost that they would contact insurance company... My car was repaired in a timely manner and it looked perfect....My vehicle looks like new...Thank you for your excellent service...

Dropped off my 2015 dodge ram due to a deer hitting the front left of vehicle. Called up every where in the quad cities and could not find no one willing to get me in except this body shop they got me in and quote with in a reasonable time frame. They where really good at informing me of the progress of my vehicle and sending pictures the work was amazing definitely recommend this body shop

Staff was friendly and helpful. The repair was done quickly and of high quality. Also, the vehicle was returned to me extremely clean. It looked like it had been waxed and polished. Even the tires were cleaned.
