My relative in San Jose had their solar system installed by Solar Optimum years ago. They showed me how much electricity their system generates and recommend Solar Optimum to me. I didn’t take it seriously until my PGE bill reached $600 last summer. So my relative did the formal referral through online or email. I was scheduled for a free consultation for the next business day.

Francisco talked to me on the phone. His software has my roof shape/direction and other house info. Francisco showed me a proposal based on my electricity usage history. I had many questions related to solar system in general because I’m new to this field. Francisco patiently answered my questions and explained how the solar system work. Obviously he knows it very well. It’s totally different from another consultation I had with a different company where the sales representative just runs numbers without much knowledge about the solar system.

I learnt a lot from the conversation with Francisco. The consultation went over the scheduled time. I was very happy and could sense Francisco was very glad he helped me a lot.

After the consultation I had some more questions so I emailed Francisco. He replied back with detailed answers. Reading his email was as pleasant as talking to him on the phone.

Initially I didn’t plan to have the full backup feature during power blackout. Then I think it might worth considering it. So I called Francisco again and inquired about the backup. Francisco adjusted the proposal to include it. He said it’s different when having full backups. He advised how and what time to consume the most electricity to maximize the solar system’s production. Once again it showed how knowledgeable he is.

My solar has not been installed yet, but I want to say thanks to Francisco and anyone from Solar Optimum who helped me so far. I really appreciate your help.
