My mom and I were stressing trying to find an affordable place to duplicate our keys. Tried Food 4 Less and their machine charged prices that were honestly kinda ridiculous. ($10 just for a regular key) So we tried this Safe Mart. Actually, my mom accidentally gave them our house key instead of the garage key we wanted to have made. We realized this too late. My mom called the store and they said it’s okay and that we can exchange the key with no extra charge. Turns out, they let us keep the house key too. For free. So, in the end, we paid a little more than $10 but for 2 keys (with another 2 keys to add for free). Amazing. They were super understanding and accommodating, which leads me to doubt most of the low reviews on here. Customer service is 100% satisfactory. I will be coming back here again. For sure.

I’m all about supporting local businesses but I have been here twice to get copies of my house key and gate key made and both times I ended up having to come back because the keys were cut incorrectly and didn’t work. The first time the guy used the wrong size key. That was a few months ago, so I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. This time the guy said the key was apparently accidentally cut upside down so it didn't work. I spoke to the employee about the issue and how it was my second time having this problem with them with different keys. He simply asked if I wanted a refund or for them to fix it. It was like a $3 key, so it’s not like it was a lot of money. But I felt like because it was my second time having to drive all the way back up there because they made a mistake I should have at least been offered my money back. Disappointed with the customer service and experience.

This place is awesome. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The made my keys, for a reasonable price. They take credit cards and cash. I also had an alarm remote that they couldn't replace,they referred me to a local business that replaced it in minutes.
This place sells great safes and car keys for many makes and models.
I initially passed it up while looking for it. This place is located on the corner of Marine and Crenshaw, in Gardena.

I came in a few weeks ago to get an extra keyless entry FOB for my 2009 Nissan Cube. Everything was so easy from the get-go. I walked in and explained my situation. The young man told me that he didn't have my key FOB in stock, but he said he'd order it and it would be ready in about three business days. I believe I came in on a Thursday and had my new key FOB by Monday or Tuesday the following week. The price was very reasonable... about half what the dealer charges!

Can't go wrong with SafeMart locksmith!
Quaint little shop on the corner of Crenshaw and Marine that's been there for many years.
I have all my work done there whether it be duplicates or lock work they are great with vehicles as well.

When having duplicate keys made,
If possible bring your mailbox locks or padlocks in or whatever type of locks you have so they can test the key in the lock.
Same with vehicles. if you're having a duplicate key made for a vehicle, bring the vehicle so they can test the key.

They also have plenty of keychains, large key rings and other accessories for your needs.
They carry the big stuff as well, like safes Etc

I had to deal with them on three different occasions, two times not being their fault. The third time was an accident on their end but they fixed the issue with no problem at all and didn't charge for keys having to be fixed. All three times I had to deal with them in two days they were extremely kind and helpful too. Very professional. I highly recommend coming here for any keys you need made or even if you are shopping for a safe or anything related they will definitely take care of you.
