I discovered a leaky pipe underneath my kitchen sink. I had just received a coupon for Albert Nahman Plumbing in the mail and decided to call. They were able to get me an appointment the following day. Billy Vasquez Reyes arrived in the first 30 minutes of my 4 hour window. That was a pleasant surprise! Billy was very nice, quickly assessed the problem and was able to fix it. He was also very nice to my dog that was eager to help with the process. I will definitely call them with any further plumbing needs!

We had Salvador come out to our property to check out why our hot water heater was putting out brown water. Salvador flushed out the water heater and after determining what was going on and explaining our options, I decided to change my water heater. Salvador was able to replace the water heater the same day and explain how everything worked. He exceeded our expectations and was professional and personable. We are extremely unhappy with Albert Nahman’s lack of service and
communication. We used Albert N. for a broken main water line to
our house 3/27/24. It has now been 3 ½ months since Albert N. started
their work; we have been left with an incomplete job, an open ditch
and busted-up sidewalk. The only temporary coverings provided are
small pieces of plywood covering Albert N. incomplete project. Our
neighbors and my 4-year-old son have all tripped over the sidewalk
coverings. At this point, it is a hazard.

We have called Albert N. almost daily since the work started and
have been promised by the operators numerous times that Management,
including the Owner Tyler G, will call us back by the end of the day. As of today
7/1/24 we have not received a single call back or any response on when
our work will be completed. We were also told us at the initial
completion of laying the pipes that we had to pay it in FULL even though the work was not complete!
Now, in hind sight, it is not legal; California Contractors State license board, Contractors of Progress payment restrictions, and progress says you are not allowed to accept more than 80% payment until all work is signed off and completed. We are now stuck waiting for any response on if and when our
work will be completed.

The reason we chose Albert Nahman is that my parents used to use the original real Albert Nahman in the early 90s in Berkeley and raved about Albert’s great work and that the pipes have been working with no problems for 30 years. Unfortunately, this company is not Albert Nahman. It is a disorganized, noncommunicative cooperation whose only likeness is a faceless silhouette of Albert on the side of their vans.

Jason H. from Albert Nahman Plumbing was excellent! I had to do a presentation for work remotely at the same time he was available to fix my toilet. Jason understood it was important and he was extremely respectful about this. He shut the door to the bathroom and worked quietly, and then took all the photos I needed to understand what he fixed since I couldn't go look at it myself. He even pointed out that my coworkers liked my presentation, which was very thoughtful of him. Thanks Jason!

We have used Albert Nahman for years and have had great experiences. In the past year, the quality of service has gone down. We were having dishwasher drainage issues, visit #1 our Albert Nahman plumber tells us we need a new dishwasher. Fine. A few weeks later, the drainage issue persists on a brand new dishwasher. They send their most experienced plumber to follow up. He tells me it's fixed now, it was a simple adjustment. Now we're a few weeks out from that and my brand new dishwasher, which I didn't need, is not draining again and I have to have a plumber out for a third time on the same issue. We will not be using Albert Nahman again, I cannot explain how frustrated I am with this company. Go elsewhere.

When my in wall Toto toilet began running constantly I called a plumber that specializes in Toto’s after three days of getting no response from them I contacted Nahman who made a same appointment, showed up promptly, and struggled to access the old model in wall tank. Nothing about it was easy, the plate was stuck in place, the shut off valve for water, once accessed, was frozen, even the model number for the toilet was hard to access and to read. Salvador was patient and persistent but warned me that I might be facing a very expensive repair. He had large hands, impossible to easily use within the tiny space, and no experience with this model, but saw enough to suspect the filler assembly was at fault and located a possible replacement on Amazon -but given that replacement probably required shutting off water to the entire house given the frozen toilet shutoff he recommended getting a second opinion from someone with specific experience. Nothing about it was what I wanted to hear but it was appropriate before investing thousands in a problematic situation. Miraculously, when he reassembled the toilet the leak had stopped. Perhaps temporary, but way better than expected. I felt well and fairly served and recommend their service.
