Ok, I don't usually leave a bad review for business, but this is the worst experience , it took them 7 weeks to repair our car when they were supposed to do it in a week or less, once they had the car to repair just the driver's fender from a minor accident, they end up replacing the front bumper, Head light, mirror, sensor's and the steering wheel column, so the initial estimate of $2,100 when to $11,000 total all based on that our insurance approved, it just seems like their job is to get the most of car insurance company's. So be expecting to wait be without a car for a while 😞 they are not an honest business.

Unthinkable nightmare. I am walking in with a scratch and dent on the front side of my car a $2,100 8 day repair estimate. 2 months later after several phone calls just for "we can't order your parts", "we have the parts", "actually we don't have the parts", "waiting for parts". I went to the shop "waiting for parts". Called my appresor, no help. More calls "waiting for parts". Visit shop "Waiting for parts" Another call "need a new steering wheel column", finally the car is ready. They bring the paperwork. Total turned out to be $11,000 instead of the estimated $2,100. Unbelievable I am traumatize I keep looking the pictures scratch -dent 🚙 $11,000🙀🙀

Would not recommend this place to anyone. If you’re thinking about taking your car here then don’t. If you take your car here expect them to do half the job on it in double the time.

One of the best AutoBody shops in Chico. They are knowledgeable, courteous and do excellent work. The staff will process your claims and get you back on the road very quickly and with your car looking as if nothing ever happened. Attention to detail is seen throughout the entire process.

Absolutely awful place, had my vehicle repaired there. Several bolts were left loose, which left my vehicle stranded, also a steering part they replaced came loose a month later which had I not been really lucky would have lead to a serious wreck. The paint did not ever match, looks like a cheap back yard match on a year old truck. Some of the paint peeled and had to be redone. I absolutely would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE I like. One painter is very talented and has done other work for me outside of there and turned out phenomenal, but he didn't do the paint work on the noted repair above.

This place is horrible, don't be fooled. I was fooled once by this place expecting real service and honesty. The outcome of the repairs on my vehicle proved otherwise. My insurance company was not satisfied with the work either. I was fortunate that my insurance
insisted that the work be done elsewhere. California Color did such an incompetent job, my insurance insisted that the vehicle be repaired by the dealer. In time all was repaired correctly. I am sharing this so no other consumers the Chico area get taken by this place.

Took my car in on Monday, told it would be ready Friday. Got a call on Wednesday with an update. Got my car Friday and I am very satisfied. My car looks brand new. They washed it and even cleaned inside, looks like I just bought it off the lot. This is my third time using this shop and always satisfied. Im still in ahhh of how amazing they did.
