I wish we would’ve known about this place before our first paint project. A professional painter told us about this store and we’re so glad to have found it. The customer service is the best. Just tell them what you’re doing and they know exactly what you need. They look out for the customer, by advising what’s best even if it’s the less expensive option.

Super helpful staff for a first time homeowner! They answered all my questions and gave me some tips and tricks to get the job do the job done right! Great customer service is hard to come by, but these guys set the bar!! I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for paint no matter how big or small the job. I'll gladly be coming here for year and year to come and I recommend you do the same! If you want paint come here. Dont even waste your time at big box stores. No offense to those guys, but they wont have the knowledge and service that Modesto Color Center has!! Shout out to my boy Todd for all your help!!

Todd, the owner, is not the kind of person to "make it right.". An employee loaded a gallon of lacquer in my car, the lid wasn't secured. An honest mistake, I wasn't even mad. But when my wife called to arrange to have it cleaned, they were only interested in telling us it was our fault. I had a pool of lacquer in my car from a can that I had not touched. It wasn't hot when I took it out, yet there's no question it hadn't cooled down. Even if they were right, and they are not, for a few hundred they'd have had a loyal customer for life. Instead, I'm letting everyone know what happened and that he's more interested ina few dollars profit than the welfare of his (former) customers. He wouldn't even replace the product that asked into the cushion of my seat.

I never knew this place existed but I needed
Benjamin Moore paint and wow the service is great. They guys are so helpful and they do everything for you from the minute you walk in. And they know what they are talking about. It was great to not chase down a Home depot person for help. Who knew!! If you need paint this is the place.

Todd and his team do not care about the customer. Todd informed me that the customer's concern is not his problem. Once the product is paid for he could careless. After purchasing a gal. of lacquer from his company today, the lacquer spilled into the box it was placed in with a supposedly tight lid on it, and yet it tipped over in the box while my husband drove drove home. It is now on his very nice leather seat and the Owner Todd refuses to do anything about it. Poorest Customer Service ever. Do not give him your money.
