This company only cares about money not people. I requested a 24 hour extension to pay my monthly bill but was told the system does not allow that and there was nothing she could do due to city ordinance. Because I wasn't allowed 1 day till I got paid we are denied the $400 deposit. Most companies will work with you some but not here. Keep Roseville gentrified I guess. God forbid a young family needs one day.

Called in for help filling out form for rate assistance; very nice lady invited me come in so they could look at it. Very pleasant lady twice now helped me in the office. I've gotten off on my bill; she explained it so I can resolve it. No shame.

Funny because they are really "polite" over the phone when making a payment. However, they are rude and condescending when asking them about a possible payment error on their part. I got a letter in the mail and tried calling them but was on hold for over an hour on Friday before it got shut off. Once the office closes, my phone call got disconnected. So I wasted an hour with no solution.

I made my payment on time. My power gets shut off. I called and asked them what the problem was and they said that it was due to my non-payment. And this is when their true customer service shines.

I know they must get tons of calls with people who are really past due and claim that they are not, but they should treat everyone with the same level of respect regardless. I was told that there is nothing that they can do and that I should email them "proof".

I emailed them with proof of payment and it took HOURS to get my service restored. They will do NOTHING to compensate me for my time spent on having to get my service restored and the time my electricity was turned off. I work from home full time and it does cost me to have down time.

Update:

Just got off the phone with them (waited an hour for their supervisor to confirm my payment) and they said that they have no record of my payment. They state that they are going to offer me a "courtesy" reconnect. No, if I made my payment and sent you proof, it would be called a MANDATORY reconnect.

They need to quit reading through a script.

Total time wasted with them close to 4 hours.

Worst experience ever. They send 3rd party installers to do their work without notice. On top of it all they deflect their inability to be proactive. What an unsafe position to put your customers in. Id give zero it I could.

The customer service is incredibly unhelpful and rude. Instead of working with the customer to resolve the issue, they immediately place the blame on the customer without looking into the account to see what may have gone wrong. They confused my two rentals there in Roseville and were unable to get things straightened out. I would have been ok with the situation but they kept saying everything was my doing and that I did not call to make various changes when indeed I had. Thank goodness I have everything documented. The first employee I spoke with on the phone was Shannon. Not sure if she is what started the problem or not but every employee I have spoken to has been unable to resolve the issue. Please record your conversations with Roseville Electric and make sure to keep records of payments and all.

David Dominguez, the Trusted Solar Advisor for the City of Roseville, Electric Utility Department has gone above & beyond all expectations. He has held my hand, figuratively, through the entire solar experience (from providing a free solar seminar, to helping me understand the 'solar language' enough that I could select the best bidder for my project, to obtaining the permission to operate - that is a lot of hand holding, believe me!). He has been phenomenal - he provides same day response to all of my communications. From the date my contract was signed with Sunworks to the date I received permission to operate it took only 30 days. David is a living example of Fantastic Customer Service! To all people living in the City of Roseville, I must also comment on the fantastic response time from the City Inspector to the Roseville Electric's service person that installed my new meter. Everything was done timely & seamlessly. It was lovely seeing everyone work so well together. Like a eloquent symphony. So uncoordinated and unprofessional. How many times do you need to come to one residence to take measurements? Also NONE OF YOUR WORKERS ARE WEARING MASKS. I was disturbed about 12 times today while working with children at home. Gave me a notice saying they are cutting off power and working all night in our yard, when and where the heck did you get approval to do that? Get it together.
