The team at South Bay Auto Collision is fantastic! I brought my car in to have the side mirror repainted and fixed, and they handled it quickly and professionally. The repair was completed in just one day, and the quality of the work was excellent.

About a month ago, my SUV broke down on the 17 over the weekend. I'm quite young, so this was the first time this has ever happened to me. The towing company came and told me they could take the car to South Bay Automotive in Campbell. I wasn't really sure of what to expect, but they assured me that the mechanics there were really good and they even take their personal cars there. Monday came around and I went to the shop and met JC (same name as me haha). I was pretty stressed out about the car, but JC really helped me through the whole thing and made me feel a lot better. He was incredibly helpful and responsive. JC spent a lot of time looking at my car. I could tell that he didn't take shortcuts, and wanted to know for sure what the problem was with my car before letting me know the final diagnosis. Honestly, I felt like he did a better job looking at my car than my own doctor does looking at me. After all the hours he put into looking at my car, he said he would only charge me for an hours worth of labor! Turned out I had a blown transmission. To fix it, it would have cost around $3,500, and the car was worth that much if it was working. JC offered to buy it off me for a more than fair amount, and even waived the labor fee for the initial diagnosis AND told me he could help me out later when looking for another car with a pre-purchase inspection.

Later on, when I was looking at a used car to buy, I brought the car to JC for the pre-purchase inspection. He looked through the car very thoroughly to make sure I was not buying a car that would cause me problems later. I can tell he really cared about making sure I was making a good purchase. I ended up buying that car and couldn't be happier. JC stuck to his word, and didn't charge me anything for that inspection, despite me insisting on paying him for his time.

JC has absolutely earned a customer for life. I will be coming to South Bay Automotive for all of my car repairs and services in the future. Hopefully my story encourages you to as well, as I cannot recommend this place enough.
