In the spring of 2018, Z Painting came out and gave us a bid to retexture, repair and paint a large portion of the interior walls of our home. It was a big job with many needed repairs. Fortunately the owner, Mike, seemed very confident in Z's ability to do the work. We received a quote for $13,180, which was a lot of money but since they were redoing the interior walls of most of the house, it seemed understandable it would not be inexpensive. Unfortunately we didn't have that much money available at the time and began planning and saving to pay for the job.
After 5 months, we had put together the finances for the project and contacted Z again, asking them to proceed. They said they would need to come by and recheck out house to ensure nothing had changed, which it had not. A different man named Mike came by and seemed very skeptical of the project despite no changes being made to the house. After several days we had not received a confirmation on the job. A few emails, phone calls and another week went by, we finally received a message back saying they had previously underestimated the job and the price had changed to almost double! The new bid was for $20,060, way more than we could afford. I explained to Z that we had just spent the last 5 months figuring out how to pay for the initial project cost and now they switched the price on us. They never responded. If they didn't want the job, I wish they would have just said so from the beginning.
Finally we had another contractor come out to do an estimate for the same work. His cost, only $3,200.

Could not find Six Stars so five will have to do. We had a washing machine flood during the summer that ran for days and not only extremely flooded our home but also developed a serious mold issue. Gilbert, the owner came immediately to the rescue, riding his white stallion to save the day. His team of qualified and courteous experts were very professional, open to suggestions, had great ideas, and presented a complete proposal at a fair price. His team were on the job every day and Gilbert came by regularly to check our renovation plan and also physically assist in the project. The remodel was completed in a timely fashion as projected and the our home in Ironwood once again looks beautiful. But most importantly, our house passed all the air mold quality control specifications. My wife and I found his positive, sincere, can-do attitude contagious. He looked out for our property, respected our personal belongings and exceeded our expectations.

Gilbert came by again a few weeks after the project was completed to make sure we were satisfied with his work. He then asked for a bucket, squeegee and sponge mop and proceeded to clean all our slider door windows! Talk about Old School Service!!!! Considering how depressed we were at the beginning, Gilbert and his team turned this into a wonderful experience and we agree with all the other five star ratings. We would recommend ZPainting without pause, for all your drywall, mold removal, painting and associated renovations. AAAAAA++++++ Luanne and Cornell

We can't thank Lencho and Tino with Z Painting in Blue Jay enough for the outstanding Painting work they provided! We have a large kitchen, circa 1964, old golden oak wooden cabinets. The boys worked so hard, with such attention to detail, professionalism and cleanliness. Bye bye 1964, hello 2021 with our new bright white gorgeous cabinets! It's mind boggling how stunning and how huge the kitchen seems! We will be referring ZPainting to everyone! Heather is a sweetheart and thanks Mike for answering all of our questions!😊
